Karen Pryor passing reminds me of Hobbes, dog love of my life from age 14 to 28. Hobbes was a senior when I learned about clicker training from a Karen Pryor book. I’m remembering Hobbes after I heard about Karen Pryor passing. Such happy memories teaching Hobbes to boop me on the nose for treats after reading Karen Pryor’s book, not sure but I think Don’t Shoot the Dog. Raising a glass and a jar of peanut butter to Karen Pryor who helped transform my relationship with Hobbes and between so many other beings.

Starting to put up fliers at dog parks we’ve taken Trixie to. Here at Griffith Park. It’s so hot and my sunglasses just broke!

Recent Trixie chin rests. Trixie has learned chin rest on a box as a “start button” behavior to tell me she’s ready for more toothbrush training. Now she does it LOTS of other times on me. Heart melting AF.

TFW you check on your dog and playdo is blocking the camera. Fortunately we can tell how Trixie is doing from sound alone pretty well.
