The summer is here and it’s hot already in Phoenix. Like really hot! Well, i tried really hard to resist this one, but it was meant to be from day one when this super sweet, kissy face girl popped into my life and attached herself to me. Despite trying to let her go, after a week on the adoption floor, her siblings being adopted, memorial day weekend ending, and 5 families passing her up on Sunday, I got there right in time and she curled up into me and kisses me for a solid 5 minutes. Last week, I finally got to bathe and deshed my former leash training clients Maya and Shadow, brother and sister husky/malamute mixes. They both did so amazing and I think Maya might have broke the record for most fur deshedded along with biggest transformation! She absolutely shined and looked like a different dog when I got done with her. The furrents, who had been using another groomer, were in shock and I’m confident i blew their minds with these transformations. The March 2024 dog group obedience class graduated yesterday in spectacular fashion. Most of the dogs had no professional training and struggled with a variety of issues from reactivity, to fear, to over stimulation. I’m so proud of everyone who worked so hard and built a better relationship with their canine best friend. The next group obedience classes won’t start until fall once the weather cools off.
