*We are expecting puppies the first week of December 2023!*
Sire: Ronan
embk.me/ronan9550
lilac shaded sable
18" tall
28 lbs
45.7% Boston Terrier - 38.7% French Bulldog - 9% Bulldog - 6.6% Beagle
The Good: EVERYTHING. He is the most perfectest little polite gentleman I have ever met. Never puts a foot wrong, sensitive, intuitive, deliberate, kind. Pretty much idiotproof. Walks on a loose leash, loads up onto and into anything I ask, comes when called, all without any formal training at all. Responds correctly to various gesticulations and mouth noises. Plays like a typical bull breed, full of wrestling and flailing and derp face. Very good bite inhibition without any work put in. Friendly with strangers when given permission, but doesn't lose his mind when anyone looks at him. Gentle and diffident with strange dogs. Indifferent to strange cats. Will bark for good reason, and shuts up when you ask. Eats anything anytime anywhere. He's just the neatest little potato dude.
Physically sound, leaps like a gazelle, goes hard for toys and flirtpole and breaths silently even when working on a hot day. OFA Spine and Hips pending.
The Bad: 100% certified Himbo. also eats p**p.
Dam: River

black and tan piebald merle
14" tall
16 lbs
73% Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - 27% Miniature Australian Shepherd
The Good: Sweet, sassy, bossy, but in an affectionate way. Wants belly rubs and wants them NOW, peasant! Loves snuggling and being up in someone's arms, doesn't matter who. Definitely a cat goddess in a former life. Give her warms and worship and she's happy. More of a thinker than Ronan, will patrol the perimeter of the yard and glare at so much as a leaf out of place. A little bit of a barker but always for good reason. SO sweet and cuddly like yall I cannot emphasize this enough. She would like to meld her body with your face. Pretty smart, but uses it for chaos.
Coat is absolutely on point. Soft, SO SOFT YOU HAVE NO IDEA, but like teflon. never mats or tangles, never needs brushing, never needs bathing. and her tail waves fabulously in the breeze.
The Bad: Too good for this whole "coming when called" thing. Has her own agenda and does it, and if you rush her she's gonna start over and we will both be here all day. Dainty picky eater. Doesn't really play with toys or other dogs, too busy being regal.
What I expect from this litter:
Some with each parents temperaments, but good pets regardless of who they take after. these dogs are SO dang easy. I am disabled and do not have the time or energy these days to put a ton of work into my dogs and these are the best babies Iv ever owned, with zero work put in. Affectionate and chill puppies that take everything in stride. Physically they will be fairly generic dog looking, soft floppy ears, medium muzzle length, medium leg and back length. Nothing special looking, but cute as heck. Coat will be smooth and short. Colors will be black or chocolate based: sable and sable merle, with or without white. Merles may have blue eyes.
What you can expect from me:
I am here for your puppy. Forever. If you are local, I will babysit, groom, cut nails, and help you train if you run into problems. If you are not local, I will try to network you with people who can help, or offer advice over the phone or chat. I do extensive socialization and exposure to things, so you can expect to get a confident happy puppy that has the best possible start to their life. We will be utilizing Puppy Culture soon, but for this litter I haven't had time to buy the materials and do the workshops yet. We wean puppies onto litterboxes with pellets so they have a head start on potty training when you get them. We feed Purina Pro Plan small breed puppy to our litters, but you are welcome to switch them to whatever works for your family or that is recommended by your vet. All puppies will be fully up to date on medical care and vaccines, and we recommend continuing their vaccinations as well as getting them microchipped when they are big enough. They will be started on leash walking, kenneling, nail dremeling, and overall handling such as standing on a grooming table, allowing examination, brushing, messing with their mouth, etc.
