This one was just for funsies! Round pen and a huge arena at a local farm. The owner does so much for so many people so it was time to gift her with some of our time. Trimmed up the fence lines and rototilled the footing.

Ok, let's be real here..... we LOVE what we do because look at our "office"!! 😍 We understand if you're jealous, we're almost jealous of ourselves!

We're not sure we could call this massive project work because the ambience of this gorgeous farm was quite therapeutic for all of us! We were able to exercise many of our gardening skills here.... which we could list for you, but we'll step aside and see how many different techniques and practices you can spot as you peruse this gallery! All in a half day's work for EBP Gardens! We were able to reclaim these flower beds and make them pop with cedar mulch! The results were aromatic and satisfying!

We are very excited to announce a new branch of Equineboardingplus! A more involved garden department called Equineboardingplus Gardens is now being launched; in its first year, this department will focus on dew**ding vegetable and flower gardens and will run maintenance programs to keep your gardens w**d free for the season. As we continue to better ourselves and make improvements, we have big plans to develop the services it will provide for 2025.

We are also incredibly proud to announce our new Director of Gardens, Claire Roy!! Claire is a Michigan native, originally from Grand Rapids, who moved to Kalamazoo in 2009, where she continues to reside. Claire has a BS in Biology from Grand Valley State University and loves all things nature. She worked as a zookeeper for 10 years, where she learned the love of a hard day's work and the enjoyment of getting her hands dirty. She then transitioned from rearing baby animals to raising her own baby humans. When not working, she dabbles in art, loves to read, and spends time with her husband, Tim, and their two daughters, Penny and Nora. She believes spending time in nature is the key to lasting happiness, and she is excited to take the stress out of your natural spaces and turn them into a place to escape daily pressures.

At Equineboardingplus, we set ourselves apart from garden/landscaping companies with our extensive animal care knowledge. Because of our perpetual desire to serve you better, Claire is the perfect choice for our garden extension because, along with her biology degree, she fully understands the importance of plant identification regarding the health and safety of all species. She also shares our love of continuous education in the pursuit of expanding her knowledge, not only for personal gratification, but also to provide those she serves to the best of her abilities.

In May of 2023, we tilled this garden. At that time, the client asked if we could clear out all the overgrowth of this orchard. His wife missed being able to see the evening sun light shine through the trees.
We cleared the overgrowth and scrub trees, and this May the gardenview is much more pleasant! The client is happy, we are happy, and most importantly, his wife is happy!

Talk about curb appeal! We added flower beds for our urban hobby farmers and the results are spectacular!

In one day, a red oak tree trunk turned into boards at West Side Sawmill and those boards turned into a new trailer deck for our main work trailer at Central Auto & Equipment in Gobles, thanks to Ron Schanz and crew. (Yes, I've already gotten it dirty....) LOVE the new deck!!!!!

We want to thank everyone who came to Dave's BAR yesterday for the Spaghetti Dinner for Wings of Hope Hospice!! The turnout was much smaller than we had hoped for, but everyone who came brought their donation game! With the event ticket/door prizes, raffles, silent auction, and generous flat donations we were able to net $1,618 for Wings of Hope Hospice of Allegan!!

A huge thank you to Jessica and Brian Carter for donating their space, time and food in support of Wings of Hope! When we asked if you'd like to donate, you blew us out of the water with your enormous and generous offer to host this event!! You both are near and dear to us and we are so darn appreciative of your support!!

Thank you to Robert, Whitney, Kelsey, and Olivia for donating your time and services to work this event!! The food was amazing, your services were fantastic, and the fact that all of you were willing to give up your Saturday to support Wings of Hope speaks volumes to the quality of your character! We had such a great time running this event with all of you! Thank you!!

This charming garden was not able to be done by tractor tiller, so the crew was brought in to remove the sod by hand. The soil is fluffed to about 8" and will be ready for the growing season when it arrives!

We don't typically do gardens by hand, but when it's necessary we aren't scared to get at it!

Thank you to Woody's Goodies and Manny for your donation to help Wings of Hope Hospice of Allegan!! We asked them to join us for the Spaghetti Dinner for Wings of Hope Hospice and Manny said, "Let me give you chicken gift cards for the raffle." We love our community and are touched by this generous offer!
