Mia and Ranger are 2 year old terrier mixes looking for their forever home. They have been spayed/neutered and are heartworm negative and weigh in at roughly 11 lbs. They love snuggles,snacks, and naps, but have plenty of play time energy too. We would love for them to be able to go ideally to a home with a fenced in yard. We don’t know the story of their past before the last 3 months, but they have done well in our home with our dogs and cat and children. There is a rehoming fee to ensure commitment to loving pets who are intended to be a part of a family.

All of the girls from the puppy 5 pack found their forever homes and are thriving! I am so happy that they found such loving families who share updates with us!

That leaves these 2 boys. No…..not the handsome human ones, the little cuties the humans are holding.

Wookiee and Curly. At 12 weeks old, they are the embodiment of rowdy little boy pups, and they are so entertaining! They are up to date on shots and are very healthy guys weighing in at 4-5 lbs.

They get along with other dogs and cats and as you can see - children.

In case you’re new or don’t remember, these pups’ parents were dumped in our neighborhood and ran around for a couple of weeks before I got my hands on them. Mama Mia was literally about to pop and gave birth to these babes 36 hours later.

Mom and dad are now both spayed/neutered and also looking for a forever home.

Their bed is 1 pup shy tonight, I’m not gonna lie…. Seeing only 4 makes me a little sad! BUT, I know that miss Remi is getting so much love and that’s all my goal has ever been.

Mr. “Wookiee” and Mr. “Curly” are still looking for their forever families. They are the 2 cuties on the right hand side.

First outing to the vet with their mama (Mia). Ms. Fuchsia collar found her forever home hopefully with a vet tech at Riverbank Animal Hospital🩷 This has been such an amazing experience to rescue the adults, foster them and the babies, and watch them grow. If you know someone that would give a baby or an adult a good, loving, home, send them our way.

Our rescued babies (and their mama, daddy, and big sis) are doing so well. Watching them grow has been such a fun experience. We will definitely be sad when they leave us to go their forever homes.

Our goodest girl Junebug saw NC State College of Veterinary Medicine & Veterinary Hospital Opthamology and Neurology last week for her eyes. Turns out she has Cerebellar Hypoplasia and Anterior Segment Dysgenesis. Her eyes are constantly moving (nystagmus) and her vision isn’t clear because of the ASD and cataracts. They do not think it will progress, which is good news, but still sad that there isn’t a way to help her eyes.

To us she is still perfect and will be cherished.

My advice? When you think you have researched a breeder? Research more. Ask questions, see proof.

As for us we will continue training with High 5 K9 Academy and help her navigate life a little differently than most puppies.

Fawkes is almost 5 months old. We used this beautiful morning to go to the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park and introduce him to the woods and the River. He showed every bit of his golden retriever traits.
