The pups had visitors today! Dr. Roberson and Summer from Symphony Mobile Veterinary Clinic! They are becoming regulars around here…. Or are we the regulars? Either way we always have such a good experience with them and the convenience of having them come to us is unmatched!

Everyone is 100% healthy including Mr. Tiny Tim who is almost half the weight of the largest puppy. The countdown is on for them to go home to their new forever families.

At Smiling Acre we encourage you to do your own research and speak with your veterinarian about the best time to spay or neuter, but it is our belief that they should reach sexual maturity before the procedure. The puppies have a new toy, I’d say it’s a hit!

Our Holiday Cheer litter is growing so much everyday! They are becoming pros at seeking out our grass pellet litter trays which sets them up for easier potty training in their new homes. They love toys and playing. They are eating semi-solid food and drinking water. Mama Fern still feeds them but she is no longer their primary source of nutrition at 5.5 weeks old.

The puppies love aunt Cherri! Yesterday she was helping us out with exposure to people in hats, as well as to different sounds - they love aunt Cherri good whistle - as well as of course, affection. This job pays well - in puppy cuteness.
