If you know our origin story you know this guy!

This is our Oakley or RooRoo or Oakey or as the kids call him Curl Tail.

Oakley was rescued with his littermates from the side of the road by a friend. At the time we only had our pet dachshunds, but we wanted a bigger dog for the kids to be able to play with. Golden Retrievers were always a dream dog so we jumped at the chance to give him a home. He has very high anxiety from the life he lived before he came to us, so most people won’t get to meet him in person, but he has never met another dog he doesn’t love.

Oakley is not part of our breeding program but he was the beginning of our golden journey and a beloved member of the family.
