Effective today, the municipal cat shelter of Gonzales, Texas is now operated and managed by 501c(3), Gonzales Paws and Whiskers (GPAW).

Kingdom Rescue will continue to support and work alongside GPAW to ensure a smooth transition for GPAW and all cats in their care. They will also work to pull cats from the shelter and into foster homes.

Marchessa 👑
One of our intakes brought in by our wonderful ACO, Melissa. This sweet mama was pregnant at the time she came in June 11th. Thankfully, a foster stepped in and provided a space for her to comfortably, and safely have her babies.

Fosters are a blessing 🙌🏻
They have helped us in more ways we could imagine, and most importantly, to the cats they welcome into their homes, hearts and family.

Meet these two adorable sisters who were found just in time, rescued within the city limits of Gonzales! Thankfully, they were spotted before a dog could get to them. Now, they're safe and sound, and we're excited to help them find their forever homes.
