Had a baby hog play dead for me for the first time!!! Lol he so ded! More ded than ded! 😭🤧.... Hognnose snakes are known for their playing dead when threatened, this guy is perfectly healthy but got a little stressed when taken out for a photo shoot! He's back in his safe little hide Happy as can be! I didn't want to stress him out more than necessary so as soon as he started playing dead I took a quick video and put him back! 😁
I got some new baby toads!!! These are great plains toads from Benjamin's exotics! I will be growing them up, not only as pets but also to scent mice for the picky eater hognose as hognose are toad eaters in the wild, and this particular toads range overlaps most of the hognose range! Don't worry I'm not going to feed any toads to the hognose! These little guys will be basically pets that I can occasionally rub a pinki on one to get its scent.
