We are insured & the only shop around that has been working with behavioral dogs for over 8 years before we became groomers. ♥️ No we don’t put animals at risk. We know when it is safe and not safe. We also work with seveal local vets in the area.

Sometimes people will give pushback about pricing and they aren’t always nice. 🐾

We understand the cost of everything these days has went up. We do our best to be fair while also trying to make a living. 😀

Before you call and get quotes then get snippy on the phone about it… ☎️

Consider some of these things that goes into running our little shop.. 🐾🖊️

✅ Blade & Shear sharpening $250-300 every 3-5 Months. We have to pay a company to do this for us.

🔴 Clippers $485-500 per Pair for a good set that will last.
They need parts changed and maintenance which can range in pricing and or full replacement.

♦️ Quality shampoos can be up to $120 per gallon
Not including conditioners, sprays, drying agents. Blades, shears, wipes, towels.

🛀🏼 Equipment: A good tub is around $2500, A hydraulic table $1500 plus the maintenance. Dryers, cages, leashes, loops.

😷 Sanitizer: We buy vet grade disinfectant $60.00 a gallon.

💰 Payroll services are a monthly fee, Insurance, website, phones, internet, utilities, scheduling are all costs also associated with running a business. Yes our employees are on payroll. They are w2. It is illegal to 1099 A groomer in Ohio. We are legit so it costs more.

🧰 One large fluffy dog can take up to 5 Hours for a full blow out and proper de shed.. aprox price $150-170. Which is also done by us sitting on the floor for hours with hair blowing all over and endless slobber at times.

💎 A groomer typically is paid 50% comission plus tips. At $150 that groomer gets $75.00 of that plus the tip of maybe $20.00. $95.00 is what that groomer would recieve for 5 hours of work. Not including taxes after payroll is done.

💩Our jobs aren’t always easy. We cannot just edward scissor hand the dog and hand them back. Imagine trying to cut hair on something that is moving, growling, lunging at you or just wont stand up on the table. Not to mention f***s, slobber, vomit, blood. It happens! 🤮

🫠 Expecting a special cut when your pet doesnt have the coat to do that with. Then getting angry at us for not making your dog look like the photo. Be realistic. We are and we will tell you upfront what can and can’t be done. It’s not us being lazy or cutting corners. We cant give you a teddy bear cut if your dog is completely pelted or looks like a golden retriever instead of a poodle.

♥️ We provide a service here unlike any other place because we care. We care about getting your pet feeling better and looking great. Even if they are ornery.

🥺 So please understand we are just trying to make a living while providing the best we can for your dog, cat, Rabbit etc. We deserve to make a living wage without pushback.

🔴 Please do not leave comments on our groomers personal pages for an appt or expect them to answer you after hours. We are closed Wed/thur. We will return your call or text the next open day. We too deserve a day off.
