We have 7 pups, so far. 4 merles and 3 black tris. 5 have naturally short tails. The black tri with the blue eye is mom. The blue merle is dad. We ended up with 11 pups. 3 blue merles, 3 red merles and 5 black tris.

Misty is having pups today. It wasn't a planned litter. She barely shows signs when she's in heat. We thought we had kept her away from the sire. I think the sire looks at her and she gets pregnant. I will keep everyone posted. It's going to be a VERY long day.

We are located in GOSHEN, INDIANA. The puppies will be 7 weeks old on Sunday. They go in for their shots on June 1st. They will be 7 weeks on May 28. and will be ready to go to their new homes on June 4. By Indiana state law, pups can't leave their mom until they are 8 weeks old. We have 3 females left and 5 males. Puppies were born 4/09/23, which was Easter Sunday. This Sunday, they will be 4 weeks old. I have also included pictures of the kennel, to show exactly how much work goes into raising my Australian Sgepherds. Not only do I shovel them out, but I use a broom to make them extra clean before using the cedar chips as cover in the runs. This makes it extremely easy to clean them out. Not only does it is make it easy, but the cedar chips help keep fleas and ticks away.

Before Mystic Star gave birth, I found foam rubber squares that interlocked and put them in her crate. It works great! It was soft for the pups and let them grip to get near mom. Since she had 11, I found a waterproof heating pad. I put that in the crate for the puppies. It keeps them warm and comfortable and mom then can go outside or eat. Babies stay nice warm and comfortable. If you can look close in the picture, you might be able to see, some babies were born with short tails! I love Aussies!

We are having.....EASTER PUPPIES!

The parents are....Mystic Star(dame) and the sire is Rockin Dreams "Rambo Kai". Mom is the black tri with 1 blue eye and a brown marbled eye. The dad is a blue merle.
Sorry the picture isn't the greatest. It was snowing that day and my sliding glass door was a bit dirty from the dogs.
We ended up with 11 pups.
