Our Story
Sarah, the owner of You Lucky Doggy provides Grafton, MA and surrounding areas professional dog walking and pet sitting services. Her passion for animals and love for dogs is what led her to starting You Lucky Doggy. She started You Lucky Doggy in 2014 and it's been successful ever since. She takes pride in building long lasting relationships with her clients and their babies!
As a dog owner herself she understands the importance of having someone that you can trust in your home and caring for your best friend when you aren't able to do so yourself. She's the proud owner of a 11 year old Golden Retriever named Bosco and a 5 year old Staffordshire Terrier named Milli. She's had them since they were 8 weeks old. They are her fur babies! She's owned a dog as long as she can remember and learned at a young age the importance of taking care of a dog properly. In doing so she have become well educated in proper dog nutrition, grooming, socialization and overall well being.
For over ten years she was a nanny and learned that although she loved working with children she knew deep down her true calling was working with animals. So she decided to set out for her true calling and worked at a pet store where she learned more on dog behavior and health. She was able to help customers with some of their dog's issues such as diet, food allergies, obedience and grooming questions. After interacting with some of the customers on a regular basis some of them starting asking her if she would walk their dogs. This soon turned into the start of You Lucky Doggy!
