Happy fall, y'all! Now that school is well underway and we have a second to breathe (before the holiday whirlwind begins), I have two announcements for everybody.

1. Effective January 1, 2026, there will be an across-the-board price increase of 5% for all baths/grooms. This applies to the base price only, and add-ons will remain unchanged. Yes, this means everybody's prices are going to be awkward numbers now, but I did not want to over-increase prices or impact small dogs disproportionately just to keep the numbers round. The last price increase was over two years ago, and I have been dragging my feet on this long enough already. If you have questions, please reach out.

2. It is time for me to set up all recurring appointments for next year. If you already know you want to keep everything the same, either message me or comment here, and I'll get those dates to you soon. If you have been meaning to set up recurring appointments, now is a great time to get on the list, so let me know! The calendar gets crowded quickly once I start putting them in.

Just as a heads up:

The roads in my neighborhood are getting redone. I don't know when they will get to the front, how long it will take, or what that will look like. I will likely reach out individually to clients that will be impacted, and will figure out how best to navigate drop off and pick up during this time.

Let me know if you have any concerns or special considerations, and I will accommodate to the best of my ability.

New service included in all bath/groom packages!

Every single dog who gets a bath, with or without a cut, will now get Musher's Secret paw wax applied. This is a basic moisturizer to keep those pads soft and smooth, and also helps provide a barrier against salt and other ground debris.

The paw treatment options available as add-ons (fizzing paw soak, sanitizing scrub, and medicated paw balm) will still be available for those with extra itchy or stinky feet.

Holiday appointments announcement:

My regular appointment times between now and Christmas are fully booked, HOWEVER, if your dog needs a groom before the end of the year, I have two options for you:

1. There are still a handful of spots available between Christmas and NYE. I'm happy to get that set up for you.

2. I have decided to add in extra/bonus evening and Christmas Eve availability, but that will come with a 25% "squeeze in" fee. (The percentage is based on your normal grooming price. Feel free to ask if you aren't sure what your total would be.) Certainly nobody is obligated to book these spots, but it is similar to rush fees that bakers would charge for last minute orders. This is extra time that I would not normally be grooming, so it comes at a premium price.

I do my best to fit everybody in, but until somebody learns how to manipulate time, there are only so many hours in the day. 😅

September is over halfway over, which is mind boggling, but that means it's time to set up the 2025 schedule! I'll be starting my annual process of setting up all recurring appointments this week, so please let me know if you need to change your appointment frequency or day/time for next year! 🙂

One big change for 2025: I'm continuing to work on my work/life balance next year. As a result, I will be working fewer Saturdays and Sundays so that I can spend more time with my family. My commitment to my clients will remain the same, though, so I will still make sure I can get everybody in.

This has already been an amazing year, and I look forward to another year working with the best clients and best puppies (of all ages)! ❤️🐶
