I stole this from a friend because it's SPOT ON!!

thieves fruit and veggie soak as a fabric softener for your towels/sheets/bedding?! after seeing this tip float around, I had to give it a try! our bottle had about a quarter left, I added some white vinegar (I know someone is going to ask how much, buuuut I don’t measure anything, haha). I added a capful of the mixture to the fabric softener dispenser, used thieves laundry soap to wash our towels and oh my gosh, they came out SO soft and fluffy! 😍🙌🏼⁣

fabric softener + conventional laundry detergent are two of the most toxic products you can use. they sit on your skin and seep into your blood stream, it’s so freaking scary. please tell me you have seen the documentary ’Stink’….if you haven’t, check it out. you’ll be ready to make the switch in a heartbeat and when ya do, I got ya covered with a laundry room makeover bundle!! 🧺 ⁣

Let this sink in....less expensive AND doesn't contain all the harmful ingredients put into the air by candles- won't burn little one's fingers or pets....you can go to bed at night knowing it'll automatically shut off.....it's a no brainer!!!!

I stole this post, but here's a great one for everyone I've told about the "pure essential oil" labels....

Hey friends! I’m here to show you the difference between real labeling of “100% pure essential oil” and correct labeling. I am not here to brand shame (hence why the label is off). But, both bottles are labeled 100% pure.

In the United States, there only has to be 5% pure oil per bottle. Meaning, 95% of the bottle can be filler and they can legally market it as 100% pure organic oil.

The bottle on the left is obviously way lighter in color, but do you see the outer ring? The ring consists of chemical fillers added to the essential oil. Yet fillers were not listed on the ingredients.
The bottle on the right is so concentrated that it bled through the lid. It is deep blue in color because it is pure. This is a perfect example of our Seed to Seal promise which guarantees 100% essential oils. I’ve witnessed the process of planting the seeds, all the way to bottling and sealing on Young Living farms and it’s very real. It provides full transparency so you know what happens every step of the way, with no interference by a middle man.

This is why I encourage y’all not to buy the cheap oils at Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc. because you cannot know what you’re really getting. You do not know what you’re paying for. You do not know what diffusing into your air you breathe into your lungs. Or what you’re putting on your body that ends up in your bloodstream and inside your cells.

Quality over cost.
It doesn’t matter if you’re saving $50, if you’re poisoning yourself!

I got a box of pine cones from mom's that my cousin sent from the mountains a few years back- I think I'll dye them red/green with Christmas Spirit in the dye....we'll see if it works!!

Cooking with the Vitalities:
Lemon and Orange Vitality Cookies | Cooking with Essential Oils
Ingredients
1 ¼ – 2 cups of Pancake mix
¼ tsp. Baking soda
¼ tsp. Baking powder
½ cup butter
¾ cup white sugar
1 Large egg
2 drops Vanilla Vitality
3-4 drops of Orange Vitality
5-7 drops of Lemon Vitality
2 Tablespoons of Orange zest
Instructions
Combine 1 ¼ cup of pancake mix, baking soda and baking powder together and set aside.
Blend together butter and sugar until smooth.
Add egg, vanilla, oils and zest. Blend well.
Slowly combine dry ingredients while mixing.
If dough is too sticky to roll into ball shapes, add a little more pancake mix until its more stiff and easy to roll.
Roll into balls and place of parchment lined cookie sheet or ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 8-10 mins or until golden brown around the edges.

I've had to do these a lot lately!!

My friend Diane shared a WONDERFUL roller (see below)- here's a few other helpers this time of year!!

SINUS SUPPORT 🤧

Lemon, Lavender, & Peppermint for overall pressure & stuffiness. Add Copiaba for additional support! You can make a 10ml roller of 20 drops each plus carrier. Or add a few drops each to a capsule. Or take on a spoonful of honey.

Diluted Purification, Raven or RC down outside of throat and around ears.

Drop of Peppermint Vitality on roof of mouth.

Any mix of R.C., Raven, Copaiba, Roman Chamomile, Lavender, Eucalyptus & SniffleEase around nose, in diffuser & on chest.

NASAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM - Mix together 10 drops Rosemary, 6 drops Tea Tree into 8 tablespoons of ultra fine salt for Netipots. Store in an airtight container. Mix 1 tablespoon salt mixture with 1 ½ cups distilled water into Netipot & use to clear sinuses. Use 1x a day until cleared up.

THIEVES TEA - 1 drop Thieves & 2-3 drops Lemon Vitality in hot water with honey. Add honey first, then oils, then hot water.

YL SHOWER STEAMERS - place on floor of shower to open up sinuses & airways. Add a few extra drops of RC or any of the above oils onto the Shower Steamer for extra support.

TENTING - Place a pot of steaming hot water on counter add RC, Peppermint and Lavender. Throw a towel over your head (around the pot), close your eyes and create a tent with the steam inside. Slowly breathe in and out for as long as you can taking small breaks when needed.
