Congratulations to our Kendra Robinson, the widow of our Honorable Marine Corporal Matthew Robinson, for accepting the Jacob Charles Kerr German Shepherd award from Shepherds of Mount Eden.

Thank you Kendra Robinson for your family's outstanding service on behalf of the American people.

Our late Honorable Marine Corporal Matthew Robinson enlisted right out of high school. He was one of the Marines to bring the Missouri back to life. He also sailed her around during his time in the Marines. He passed over one year ago and his loving widow needed a service dog to raise and love so we posthumously awarded her honorable Marine husband. His photo will be in the comments.

I've found this to be true.

What do you think?

Especially with a GSD, they need a good leader to be a great dog. Without that, they think they are the leader and that alone causes fear, stress, and aggression. It makes it impossible to socialize.

These dogs are always learning and wanting to follow your lead. Be the leader they need!

"Why adopt a German Shepherd Dog?" I have heard a lot recently...

Although I've also found so many people who tell me they know how amazing GSD's are....

I may be a bit obsessed but I'm okay with it! 🤣
..Basically, you have a best friend who will love you unconditionally and will always be there for you helping you all day long.💗

After breakfast, outside chores, running around and training time this is how we spend our mornings.... 🥰

Chill time! So important to teach chill time! 😌

All day long German Shepherd dogs will follow you around everywhere you go. But if you sit down they will sit down right next to you and chill. 😅

If you feed them and lead them they will love you more than anyone else in the world and they will do anything for you.

We can trust they will be loyal and protect us and the family and all our other animals from any threat that might arise. They are better judges than most people and we trust their instincts. BUT At the same time we maintain control of them and their behavior. They are trained to obey when they hear the "Drop it!" command and they will come when we recall them. Athough they don't go far away from us, they are always checking in. 😁

At the same time our German Shepherd dogs are friendly and love safe people.

They love attention and affection. They love to play fetch and track and play hide and seek and they especially love to train and work. They love attention and you have to tell teach them to chill like this. Put this into your training and teaching them how to behave. 🧏‍♀️

GSD's are exceptionally intelligent family members. They are not human 🤣 but they will learn what you are saying and how you feel. They are so valuable to our family. They will truly and loyally love you to the end.❤️‍🔥
