2024 Recap
I want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made 2024 so special at Kickin Dust Horsemanship. To my incredible students—you’ve worked so hard and grown so much this year, and I’m so proud of each of you. To the families who have supported and trusted me—it’s because of you that this dream is possible. Your belief in what we do means more than I can say. Here’s a look back at all the wonderful memories we created together. Thank you for being a part of this amazing journey! See YOU in 2025!❤️
Horse has been doing great getting back into working with students during their lessons. Check this rider out!
Don't forget to hold your ice cream cones properly!
This student had not been riding in about six months and was struggling with the reins. Though he was a little frustrated, he asked Sora how to hold the reins correctly.
While lessons had to take a momentary pause for the safety of all riders and horses, Sora decided to use this snowy opportunity to further desensitize her horses and pick up some new skills. What did you do this snowy day? Do you like sledding? How about behind a horse?
These ponies sure had a cold snow day! With the unpredictable and cold weather, it is sometimes best to take a quick pause on lessons so everyone can stay warm and happy 💗 What did you all do on this snowy/rainy day?
Communication is everything when it comes to riding. Watch as Sora instructs the rider, and this young rider then communicates to the horse, successfully going from trotting to walking.
This young one knows no fear, and goes for it all by herself! A jumper in the making.
Working with children along with horses takes compassion, creativity, and patience.
Take a moment to watch Sora encourage and guide even the youngest of students to learn proper hoof care before riding. 🐎
