Grand Valley Against Circus Animal Abuse

The circus is coming to town! Sadly, while this is fun for unknowing children, there is no fun for the unfortunate animals. Circus' by nature are exploitive of animals, driven by profit and human entertainment, and have been proven, w/out debate, to cause great suffering to the animals involved. These animals have NOT chosen to be a part of this. They are carted from town to town living and sleepi

ng in semi's (often for ten straight months of the year), they are caged much of their lives, and they are taught to perform un-natural tricks, often through fear and violence. These animals have no say, no voice, and it is up to us to be their voice. It is up to us to stand for them. There will be multiple performances throughout the weekend and we will try to have people at each of the performances. We will peacefully protest starting one hour before each session. The circus is scheduled for May 22nd & 23rd, we will keep you updated on the times. We will have some nicely done circus protest signs but you are welcome and encouraged to make/ bring your own if you would like.
