Tiger here…
Well it happened to me today. Mom moved the treatie bag like she was going to give me one and then she grabbed me. I didn’t even get a treat. She put me in my carrier and I had to stay there for 45 minutes. It disrupted my entire morning routine. Mom said it was because I am hard to catch. Next thing I knew she put me in the car. I cried and cried but she wouldn’t let me out. Then we were at the vet place. There were scary dogs there and I was happy to be hiding in my carrier. When we got in the room a nice lady made me get out of the carrier and sit on the scale but I wanted to go right back in. Then the doctor came in and made me get out again. He listened to me with this thing and then looked me all over. I had to get two shots but I was really brave. After that I hurried back into my carrier. Then there was the long car ride home but I only cried a little. When we got home I ran to find Tony but he just giggled and said it was my turn. At least mom finally gave me my treat.

Hi, it’s Tony….
I wanted to share my difficult couple of days. It started last night when we had another thunderstorm. I hate all the noise and have to hide in my secret hidy spot. I didn’t feel better until I made mom itch my head and cuddle with me for a long time.

Then this morning mom rudely shoved me into my cat carrier and zipped it up. When we went outside I cried and complained until we got to the car. It was a super long time in the car (only 10 min) then mom took me into the vet place. Last year I had to stay here forever (only overnight) they shaved my belly fur and made a big ouchy spot on my belly.

This time I only had to get weighed and the doctor had to feel me all over. I did have to get poked by an ouchy needle but I was brave. After all of that, I was happy to get back in my carrier.

After we got home I let everyone know that I wasn’t happy about the whole ordeal for a couple of hours. Then I needed a nap.

Tiger here… oops I jumped on the chair too hard and look what happened. Mom told me I had to get off.

Mom and dad left us forever (just for the weekend) and we had to stay home by ourselves. Now that they came back we always have to be rowdy so they know we missed them.

They went to see our cousin kitties. Reggie sent us some pictures of the fun he had playing with mom’s yarn. Tony is in charge of yarn playing so I’m not sure how that happened. Anyway I thought I would share the pictures he sent.

And I wanna know if there are any good cat lawyers out there 'cos I believe my sister, Oakley, is entitled to financial compensation from Linda.

You see, it's like this: Oakley spent hours and hours working on her magnificent craft project the other night, and I mean, really magnificent.
A meowster piece!
She pulled out all the stops when she discovered Linda's stash of craft materials.

In the first instance, it wasn't easy for little Oakley to manoeuvre her way into the craft cupboard. It took quite some doing.
And Linda doesn't appreciate the effort Oakley put into pushing all those heavy boxes off the shelves.
Boxes of crochet hooks and knitting needles and yarn and ribbons and buttons and beads and embroidery threads and lace and fabric and...
Well, I could go on all day listing the stuff Oakley had to sift through to find just the right materials for her project.

To be honest, she may have had a little help from me in pulling all the boxes out and emptying them on the floor, but I can hardly take credit for her hard work. Although I did help her find the stuff she was looking for.
Unfortunately we weren't able to open the tubes of paint, but we did try.
And the paintbrushes were fun to play with, but we couldn't really put them to much use.

The other stuff was good though.
We tried a lot of different combinations and themes but in the end, Oakley decided to do a collage of everything.

When she was done, the entire floor was covered in beautiful shiny beads and silken threads with a nice mix of lace and ribbon and a touch of satin here, a hint of velvet there.
Some buttons strewn about for effect and some floofy pink yarn to bring it all together.
Oh!
And some crocheted granny squares we found in a bag.
Although some of them started to unravel before the project was done.
Nevertheless, the effect was just stunning.
Or so WE thought...

But when that Linda woman walked in, she freaked out.
And now we have been banned from ever going in the arts and craft cupboard again.
Or from using any of those lovely materials for our future creative endeavours.
It's really not fair, don't you think?
Why would she want to stifle our artistic talents?

But wait, it gets even worse!
Not only did she banish us to the bathroom when we tried to prevent her from dismantling my sister's carefully created project, but she wouldn't even let us help her tidy everything up.
We did try, honestly, we did, but she just yelled at us and put us both in the bathroom.

We weren't even allowed to have a sip of her coffee.
She's not big on sharing, that woman. No way.
All I managed was one lick of the cupcake before she snatched up her coffee and her cupcake and then next minute, we're in the bathroom.
We were stuck in there for ages and ages!

Then finally she came to get us and let us back into our room but all the craft stuff had just magically disappeared. And now there's a new lock on that cupboard and we can't get to all the cool stuff to express our creativity.
Sigh...

I was so looking forward to zhuzhing up our litter box with some sequins.
Don't you think it would have looked lovely and sparkly if we'd tossed a few sequins in with the litter?

Yeah.
I thought so.
And why SHE can't see it that way too is beyond me.
She's so unreasonable, that Linda woman!

Like I said, at the beginning, I think we're entitled to be making a claim of some sort.

We got these new Yeowww! sardine toys for Christmas and we love them. 😻😻

Note from Mom: Not being compensated for this but, Yeowww! cat toys are great. After fighting over the first banana toy they got, we had to get more. Even Tony who is not always big on toys loves these. Available on Amazon and Chewy and many pet stores.

Tiger wore out her favorite scratchy pad but Chewy was out of stock, then it was discontinued 🙀. Days later it was discovered that Chewy had just switched up the design on the side. Tiger picked the s’mores one and thanks to Chewy’s quick shipping, she now has a new one 😻. She was so happy she used it as soon as I put it down.

We got a new cousin cat today. He lives with Kimmy and Beebs. He is 4-1/2 months old (still a baby). His name is Reggie. I guess those girls missed us so they needed a new friend 😻😻.

Our Vacation: Part 3

After a few more days we decided to make the best of it. Tiger stayed in the windows but I needed cuddling. My cousin cats Kimmy and Beebs were upstairs so I made my way up there too and found a snuggly bed. They weren’t happy I was there and left so I got the whole thing to myself. One day I even got to help with crafting. We both decided it wasn’t so bad here.

After what seemed like forever, mom and dad came back 😻. We were so excited to see them. The next day we had another long ride in the car. When it was over, we were finally back at our house. We were so happy! We have both been sticking close to mom and dad to make sure they don’t go away again.

Our Vacation: Part 2

After a few days it was a little less scary. We got to hear mom on the phone and Tony even got to send a text letter. Tiger spent all her time sitting in the plant window or on the freezer by the other window. I (Tony) hid in my carrier a lot. There were other cats here but I wasn’t sure I wanted to meet them. I sat by the door and called for mom but she never came. We did find that there were birds here too and they were good to watch. My human sister petted me and snuggled with me but it was not the same.
