I was reading a post on Luke Collins wall about friends and friendships. And, it stated something I think can be a contradiction in terms, or an assumed observation. I've come to the conclusion that what God calls friends and what we call friends are two different things.
Back in 2014-2015, James Garcia introduced cincept to me that was so dynamically intuituve that i spent the next 10 years studying it. This is the 1st paragraph to the white paper I wrote about it while attending Villanova.
FRIENDSHIP THEORY
l The myth that true friendshipd exist can be easily eradicated by philosophical and religious beliefs and the false perception that we allow the word trust to project into our daily lives. By putting so much stake in something that is so unquantifiable as “trust”, all friendships can be dissolved based on a perception that someone “you trust” is always there when needed. Because there will always be a circumstances that will prohibit said friend from performing their responsibility of being there, then the bond can be broken by one individual who can attack with an erroneous or false claim (Or the truth according to their feelings which are just). This is now, a one-way street and thus not a true friendship. If you have the right to dissolve the friendship unilaterally or arbitrarily where there is no “spoken” mutual agreement to dissolve said friendship, then what you have is a relationship that is based on theoretical economic modeling in which your optimum level of trust is directly proportional to your level of comfort or the “trustworthiness” of the other party. This is the stage that is set for an individual to maximize his own utility, thus not a “true” friendship since only one side holds the key at any given time. Lately, this has been coming back to me and I realized something. I know people back home that I could call a friend that i haven't seen in 30÷ years and it would be OK. Then the several scriptures about friendship, one of which mentions that a friend can be closer than a brother, come into play. If God says there are friends, then there are friends. But Luke mentioned true friends, abs inky my true friends would read this far anyway. If I have a true friend in you, say something. Then go say some cool s**t to some of your friends. People are only special because you make them so. They don't know they are. So let your special people know that they're special.

Took him to the vet the other day because he was favoring his hind left leg. Come to find out he has two broken or torn ACLs. I can't imagine the pain he's in. Now, we got to come up with the money to get his surgeries.

Having a dog like Phoenix does not come without its risk it's why I call him monster. He's a super super great lovable dog but when he turns into the monster he's a different animal. As an owner you better be prepared to be able to handle that animal. You can never ever be not the guy. You always have to be in control and it doesn't matter what other people think about you it doesn't matter how you have to do it just keep them away from being put down. I don't care what they say Animal Control Officers love to put down pitbulls.

PIZZA ANYONE?
Friends tell me it's time to put her down, and sadly, I sometimes listen. I convince myself that it's the best thing for her, but my heart is quick to disprove the bulls**t my mind is feeding me. I'll never abandon you Lilly. When our boy left, he left both of us. Now? It's just you and me.....and Monster of course. :)
I let her outside by herself because she's hard headed and wants to do it on her own like she always did. That was 5 minutes ago. Now? She's yelling at me from across the yard because she's lost. She's blind, deaf in one ear, and can't hear out of the other one. She constantly goes in circles because she follows that one ear towards where the sound comes from. It always comes from the right. She gets so desperate for a taste of freedom that she'll work herself right into a frenzy. That's before she even gets off the couch. Poor thing. She sleeps all day. Pees at will on my carpet, even though I've yelled at her time and time again. I forget....she can't make it outside anymore. You can tell that it bothers her. So, we make the best of it.

Pits and Strays (John Brown) - Here's the deal with Pit bulls; You have you regular "strays". Not full blooded and certainly not pedigree. GREAT dogs. Friendly, and yet fiercely protective of their own. Gets along with other dogs. Full bloods, same deal but they really don't like other dogs. Eventually they'll tolerate and eventually accept. Pedigrees, like Monster Dawg here, are FIERCELY protective and HATE HATE HATE other dogs. They're Alpha Alpha's. So why, stupid old lady who knows and hates my dog because he's kicked the s**t out of her dog on 2 separate occasions, would you walk your dog on a retractable leash? Because you're an idiot? Retractable leashes do not give you immediate control of your animal. They create a moment of tension when it hits the end of its length. her poor dog, under nothing but instinct, saw Pheonix and charged for him. MOst time, her husband and I just laugh and, it's no big deal. Dogs being dogs. When you're a 4'2" Hobitt looking long-haired gallut like dumb bitch here, you don't have the physical strength to hold your dog back and jumps in the ring with a killing machine. It's true. These dogs are no joke and you need to knonw exactly what you have on your hands. Granted, maybe I put down my jacket a little slower than I would have otherwise, but that's neither here nor there. Phoenix had a free play. Took him about 2 seconds and besides me kicking the s**t out of the other dog while phoenix had him down, that lady got what she deserved. Hate the owner lady, me, not the dog. Dogs run on instinct, not reason. I would never fight Phoenix on purpose. I hate dog fighters. BUUUUTTTT, when he's about to be attacked while he's on a leash? HA! Sorry, I'm not holding him back. The other picture was the zen place we went and settled down after the incident. We were both pretty worked up. I don't think that other dog will make that mistake again. Funny thing is, they don't care about size or strength or anything. It's just the reckoning.
Our boy is finally coming around. I remember Lilly was basically re****ed up until she was 2. That's when she became self aware. I THINK I see glimmers of this in Monster too. Maybe he's just placating me.
In what type of hellish dark place does a person who can do this to a dog, of all animals, retire to when he sleeps? I imagine that in the walls of your mind as you sit alone, there are huge bugs running around constantly attracted to the s**t that lays on the floor of the vessel of your soul. Fantastically you will die alone in more pain than even you know. These dogs are ok, you? You will never be ok. You never were ok. You can't be. You don't deserve to be.

I really can't see how people take so long to learn that it's not the dog, it's the owner. Granted, Phoenix does not like other dogs, and we're working on that. It's people though that are the problem. We're bringing them into our world and expecting them to act as we want them to. That's just not an ideal request when most people who own these beautiful animals aren't qualified to own ANY dog, much less one as emotionally needy as the Pit bull. Share this with any pit bull owner. Please. Hopefully they'll post pictures of their "Monster" (lol) in action.

Our first real repeat customer. HAHA!! He drove through our parking lot and saw him and slammed his big SUV in park and said MONSTER!! And of course, Phoenix didn't let us down.
This young lady had to stop while I was picking up pizza and say hi to the monster. LOL - MONSTER STRIKES AGAIN!! That tongue is deadly accurate!!! LOL Poor girl.
