Romeo I tease you as Blanco Diablo or Officier of the Paw but this little tyke is the toughest dog I know ! And I have to admit when he dances on 2 feet he is awfully cute ,but maybe that's just his wings flapping 🤔?

It's hard not too but don't feed Elk , Bears or even Deer . The DNR is quick to blame all wildlife issues on backyard feeding and the animals always pay the price. In fairness , feeding LARGE potentially aggressive or destructive wild animals is never a good idea as they will begin to depend on handouts and it can disrupt hibernating and semi-hibernating animals such as bear and skunks...
(To note ; the DNR focused heavily on back yard feeding in the transfer of airborne deer diseases not looking at the HUGE game ranches that import deer elk and other 'game' and trough feed that of course come in contact with wild animals)

The rutting elk was not afraid of people and became a safety concern in Rogers City.

FOUND LOOSE DOGS -safe contained in neighbors yard they were playing in ! NE Grand Rapids Houseman NE , near Diamond and Carrier Creek area..dogs are safe contained in yard. DM me to be put in contact with finder. Please provide valid proof of ownership.

I tease about little chi Romeo's real name being Blanco Diablo (white devil) He's a spitfire! Fearless! He definitely has his lines drawn in the sand. And we've found a way to get along. As long as I don't touch him (I've snuck in a few pets 😁) or gawd forbid attempt to pick him up ! I noticed he follows me around in the yard alot 🤔 so we started doing "walk abouts" which he LOVES !! I'll call out 'Time for Walk-abouts!! And here he comes waiting on the loop ! Jeep Jeep usually joins us reluctantly but he joins in . Rosie is so adorable, she'll stay with the loop about 1/2 way around then stop to roll roll roll until we pass by on next loop . I'm so happy this crew loves this as I do too ! It's soooooo cute ! So, without further ado . "The Walk-About!"

Yes ! Mosh Pit Rescue is accepting applications on Whiskey . His 1st vetting is done. Heartworm negative (whew!) Neutered, vaccines, general check up . He probably is going to need an ACL fix , with Mosh Pit's veterinarians and they will cover the cost. But as he is not showing signs of pain we can continue to strengthen his body and mind before hand. He came into rescue quite wobbly and scared. It's amazing the turn around in one week ! He's learning his potty training like a champ . He will still need to be brought out to potty and praised as he really seems to get potty outside means happy house time ! He's curious with the cats but that's about it. We know he had severe trauma with the other dog he was chained next to. He is not tested with dogs yet as he seems terrified of dogs still, shaking and running to me. We are still in week one . And he continues to do better every day in confidence. Stay tuned !
