🐶 Puppy Meet & Greet! 🐶

On Saturday, March 22, we’ll be having the most adorable event of all time: the Puppy Meet & Greet at Your Pets Naturally - Grand Rapids!

⏰ Hours: 11:00 am-1:00 pm
📍 Location: 6439 28th Street SE 49546

We’ll be there to introduce you to some of the cutest canine companions in town! Give them some pets and some snuggles. 🤗 Find the very best puppy for you!

🥼🩺 Please note: not all of the puppies are spayed/neutered, but do have appointments. You are welcome to come and see who is a good fit for your family, but they will not be able to go home with you until after that appointment.

We’d like to introduce you to our lively little guy, Blue! This adorable longhaired lad was born around July 2024. But after you swoon over his incredible cuteness, let’s talk about what makes Blue unique!

💙 A Long Trip to Health
Blue has faced some tough challenges in his young life, including multiple surgeries due to a serious medical condition. Thanks to the dedication of our fantastic veterinary team and foster caregivers, he’s recovering—and thriving!

🏥 Special Dietary Needs
Blue *requires* a prescription food (Hill's Gastrointestinal Biome Stress) to keep his tummy happy. This is a small but essential commitment for his health. Blue will need a family that’s prepared to provide him with this specialized diet and keep up with regular yearly vet visits.

If you’re up for the challenge, Blue will reward you with endless love and energy!

🏃💨 The Energizer Bunny
Blue is a whirlwind! He’s always zooming around and showing affection through playful nibbles. (We’re working on that!) He thrives on companionship, so he’d love to have another energetic feline friend to wrestle and climb with in his new home.

This picture is so lovely. We are sad for the previous owners of Goldie but happy that we can help them by taking the worry about Goldie off their minds. We hope this helps heal their hearts a little bit.

This story is truly special. Our beloved Goldie came to us after his previous owners had to transition to a nursing home due to Alzheimer’s. Though it was heartbreaking for them to say goodbye, they found comfort knowing he’d be loved again.

Today, Goldie—now Goldielocks—has found his perfect match! His new little human adores him, and their bond was instant. Just look at this precious moment—pure joy, pure love. 🧡🏡 955

Dear Friends,

Please pay attention: it’s me, Isaac, the super cute Goldendoodle mix puppy! 🐶 Let me tell you all about myself.

I’m such a sweet boy—with a tiny bit of shyness. 🫣 I’m working hard on my puppy skills with my awesome foster family. My siblings and I are learning all the important things we didn’t get to learn before coming into rescue. These skills will help us grow into the best furry friends ever!

Other dogs and cats are okay with me so far. 🐶🐱

FYI, I do need a little extra pampering: *frequent and regular* grooming is a must for my fabulous fur and my health! ✨

I’ve been told I am smart 🤓 and not too hyper, which means I’m ready to continue learning more about potty training and obedience! My new owner will need to continue this. Promise, I’ll be the very best boy and study a lot if you give me the chance! 📚

I’ll be available to go home after my neuter appointment on 3/31. Will be all ready to leave with my vaccines, microchip, and deworming!

Guess what? You can come meet me and my pals at the Puppy Meet & Greet on 3/22 at Your Pets Naturally - Grand Rapids! 😍 Can’t wait to see your smiling faces and maybe find the home of my dreams.

About Ardmore, from her loving foster mom:

“She is very cuddly, sweet, and loves to play with her toys. She loves a piece of chicken for her
lunch and Fancy Feast Medleys. 😋

“She plays with her toy mice, and leaps in the air for her feather toy! 🪶

“She likes listening to music. She loves her ears and the side of her head scratched. She loves watching Nature Channel and birds and squirrels from her window. 🪟

“When I first met Ari, she was taking 2.5 mg of paroxetine for anxiety. This was because sometimes she seemed to go on the carpet and not use her litter pan.

“I use 2️⃣ litter pans for her and she uses them faithfully! They are cleaned daily. I put a throw rug under the pan, since I understood from the former owner that she likes soft carpet. (I have a carpeted basement and when I go down there with her, she does not go on the carpet. When I have left her down there by herself, she did go on the carpet a couple of times.)

“Ardmore is a perfect companion otherwise!”

UPDATE: A very kind supporter has donated $50 towards their adoption fees so the total fee to adopt both is only $100!

Kimchi and Bulgogi are STILL waiting for their forever home. They’ve been doing incredibly well in their foster home but may not be able to stay there much longer.

They’ve have been at the rescue since the end of August 😔. That’s 193 days.

They are approximately 7 months old. Kimchi is a female, Bulgogi is a male. We would like them adopted together because as you can see they REALLY like each other. Because of this, we are willing to adopt them out for $150 instead of the normal $200 adoption fee ($100 per cat).

We’re excited to show off gentle boy Thurston!

📚 Thurston's Story
He has had quite a journey. Found in a city of Wyoming neighborhood, he was known as the friendly stray with a heart of gold. Sadly, he came to us with a nasty eye injury and several wounds around his neck and eye, but thanks to our amazing vet team and foster, he’s healed up beautifully!

👁️ A Unique Feature
Thurston has microphthalmia, which means one of his eyes is smaller than the other. This is a genetic trait.

☮️ Personality
Not one for the spotlight, Thurston prefers coziness and pets. He loves curling up in his fabric cave, where he feels safe and sound. This quiet guy is ready to be your companion for all those peaceful evenings at home!

🩺 Born around August 2023, Thurston is neutered, current on age-approriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and dewormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.

Currently in a foster home, where he’s getting all the love and care to prepare him for his permanent placement.

🥰 Brotherly Love 🥰

These two male Siamese mix siblings, Ambrose and Elliot, are a sweet bonded pair! Because of their brotherly love, they must be adopted together. 🐱🐱

Their estimated date of birth is 9/16/23. 🗓️

1️⃣ Ambrose
Seal point Siamese mix

Ambrose loves spending time with his brother Elliot, and they can always be found cuddling up somewhere. 🤗

Ambrose is more timid than Elliot, and hasn't quite come out of his shell yet. However, Elliot is always by his side helping him with his confidence!

2️⃣ Elliot
Lynx point Siamese mix

Elliot can be shy at first, but he is a very sweet boy who enjoys sitting on your lap and cuddling once he gets comfortable. He is very talkative, and will have entire conversations with you! 🗣️ He likes to spend a lot of time with his brother Ambrose, especially cuddling up next to him. 😺

We still haven't gotten to see these beautiful brothers’ full personalities yet, as they’ve only been in foster for a week.

Their previous owner had nothing but amazing things to say about this darling duo! Due to medical reasons, their previous owner had to surrender the brothers so she could focus on regaining her own health. It was an incredibly hard decision for her, but we assured her that these guys would find an amazing home together! 🏡

Ambrose and Elliot need someone who will be patient with them, who will understand that sometimes it takes a little bit of time for a pet to warm up to you. They’ll need to find their own groove again in a new situation.

Ambrose and Elliot are currently residing with a loving foster.
