Do not shave your double coated dogs!

This is a thermal image of a dog with a portion of its body shaved and the other portion not shaved. The non-shaved portion is at 24°C and the shaved portion at 30°C. The hair is present for several reasons, mainly for thermal regulation ☀🌡

Stop shaving dogs you're not helping them.

Happy 5th birthday to the dog that forever changed my life!

Willow girl, there are no words that justify how much you mean to me. You are completely irreplaceable. I am beyond thankful for each and every year I get the spend with you but each birthday gets harder and harder because it means you are growing older and I need you around forever. You have been there with me through it all. The happiest days and the absolute worst days of my life. I couldn’t get through any of it without you by my side. You are my absolute soul dog. I will love you forever 🤍
