Our baby house hippo Wanda got her first heartworm treatment today!! She didn’t even flinch for her injection. Just crawled into the technicians lap for hugs. She is sooo soft. Her fur feels like velvet. She is available for adoption!! Her heartworm treatment and medications are covered by the rescue. 💜

Their names mean: ☃️Yuki: Japanese for Snow and Happiness. ❄️Lumi: Finnish for snow and is the spirit of winter in Finnish folklore. 🤍Bianca: Italian for White. They are young adults, super sweet, and very playful. Yuki and Lumi are the orange males and Bianca is the Tortie female. They will be adoptable later this week.
