We are a small farm located just a few miles from downtown Grand Rapids, MN. We currently operate four high tunnel greenhouses, following organic principles and sustainable practices, to provide clean grown produce (meaning chemical free!) to the local community. We have been selling at the Grand Rapids Farmer's Market since 2012, offering a wide selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, flow
ers, and chicken eggs. We love what we do and get excited by the prospect of providing delicious, quality, local, home-grown produce to our community.

It is with heavy hearts and disappointed palates that we must sadly announce that there will NOT be a Second Delivery of Peaches - nor any Pears, this year.
Crop failure on the pears, and late season insect damage on the peaches led to this unfortunate decision.
(Such is the occasional dilemma with organic produce.)
We appreciate your annual patronage and remain committed to bringing you the best fruit possible.

Morning walk through the tomatoes. 🍅 They are loaded with green fruit and we are starting to peek some more color! Hoping next week’s 80 degree weather and above 60 degree nights finally kick them into high gear so we can start to harvest an abundance of sweet, juicy, red tomatoes!

Late night plant moving has turned into late night transplanting! 🌱
On my way out to water plants, I had to stop for a minute and listen to the birds sing. 🎶 After such a long/cold winter, hearing the world filled with spring bird song brings me so much joy!
Babies on the farm! 🐥 A sure sign that spring is near!
Putting the plants to bed! 🪴 For the next couple weeks, until the night temps get warmer and more consistent, this is our nightly routine…and morning! We move the plants back into the germination “cooler” (named cooler because the structure was originally a walk in cooler in a gas station) where it is easier to maintain a nice warm temperature. We are able to heat the smaller insulated space with an electric heater rather than run the natural gas furnace all night in the larger greenhouse. Plus, I get my steps in for the day! 😉😁
