Renegade got to play today for a ground session he may be retired but he enjoyed the attention today.

Lesson horse spotlight.
Although Daisy isn't a horse she still deserves her spotlight. Daisy is a fun older donkey that came to us about a year ago. She has been used for lead line and some trail rides. She isn't used as much as the others but she definitely has a place in our program and we love knowing she's here when we need her.
Fun facts about Daisy
1) she's the only donkey in our program
2) she was started under saddle here years ago
3) she has a real nice lope.

Lesson horse spotlight
Meet chief. This handsome boy has become one of my favorite personalities. Cheif is a 16 year old paint who was used as a ranch and trail horse in his past life. He does have an arthritic knee that prevents him from being used hard but he has been a great asset to our program. Chief has been referred to as the Labrador retriever of our horses. He's always happy to be included but will be the leader if his rider isn't. He is great for kids that need to learn where to look when riding and how to use their legs. Chief gets to live the best of two worlds, when he isn't in lessons he is babysitting our weanlings and yearlings.
Fun facts about Chief
1) he licks you I'f he likes you.
2) he has one eye that is half blue half brown
3) he became the adoptive dad of our bottle foal Cowboy.
4) in his total equine he gets immune support, joint support, and H**p Seed oil by silver lining herbs.
5) to help manage his knee he also gets red light therapy and bemer treatment.

Lesson horse spotlight
Meet Duke he is an OG in our lesson program. Duke is a former ranch horse and has been a huge asset to our program. This horse truly matches his rider and is the best at telling me how a student is really feeling. He is our slowest and fastest lesson horse all in one. He's amazing for all rider levels. Duke has been in drill team the past few years and been a great 4h horse for several different kids.
Fun facts about Duke
1) he drools all the time.
2) he has the smoothest transitions
3) he's one of our lesson horses that is good for both adults and kids.
4) with his total equine he gets the following silver lining herbs. Immune support, brain and nerve, feet and bone, prebiotic and H**p Seed oil.

Meet Monkey
Bum gold dust aka Monkey is a registered paint gelding who spent most of his life as a trail horse. He has been in our program for a few years now. He excels as a horse foe beginners and our kids that want to walk trot only. He has lots of heart but his body came to us with wear and tear.
Fun facts about Monkey
1) he enjoys getting body work and a bemer session after a lesson
2) in his total equine he gets the following silver lining herbs. Immune support, brain and nerve, feet and bone and H**p Seed oil
3) he's versatile in the arena or on the trail
