I picked up some Christmas jammies for $2 each at Smart Savers in Altus and look how cute they are ❤️❤️❤️ They actually like them!!! Well everyone except my little jellybean ( the white chihuahua 😂) she is hating life.

Little Biscuit went to his vet appointment today. We got confirmation after X-rays that he does have an enlarged heart and congestive heart failure. He is now on medication for life and will stay with the rescue so I can make sure he is properly taken care of. I’m sorry but I just don’t trust that people will do the right thing and provide all his needs. I’ve seen too many evil things that I don’t have much trust in people doing the right thing anymore. Ringo will probably stay too since there aren’t too many people looking for a senior dog with a heart murmur.
God knew I had a weakness for the old babies and I know that’s why they are here. Was I expecting to add to my “sanctuary “? Nope. But in rescue it’s always a possibility. So my “special” pack is adding up. Three legged, sight impaired, nerve damaged cats, hospice, people selective dogs.
I need a farm 😂

I made a Christmas Amazon wish list for the rescue babies. Things like toys, sweaters, belly bands, dog bowls, Just extras.
My one big ticket item that the cats would love Santa to bring is a new cat tree. They have worn theirs out 😂.

I have 6 chihuahuas that think I’m their new mom. They follow me everywhere, wait at the door crying for me when I go to my shop and work, come to the bathroom with me ( yes, all 6😳) they sit in my lap as soon as I sit down, they sleep in the recliner with me 😂 they literally are everywhere I am. I really can’t keep more than 2… permanently.. it’s killing meee lol it’s like a small farm right now though😂😂 you should hear me calling them all out to go do potty business. 🤦‍♀️ it’s quite comical. They are slowly exploring the yard. A few won’t get more than a few feet from me still. I can say I’ve never felt so loved in my life😂😂😂

Ringo went to the vet and he’s on a spray antibiotic for his wound. She said it should heal ok. He does have a heart murmur and needs a dental badly😥 She picked some hair off his teeth and a few fell out🤦‍♀️ He Is heartworm negative and got his rabies updated. He’s a whole 10lbs of pure love🥰
If anyone has a great love for a senior dog, he’s your guy❤️

Chihuahua updates ❤️ these kids are amazing 💜 I just called the vet and the dogs are all 7 and up. Ringo and Biscuit are 11. They are getting along with my dogs and cats great! They are complete lap dogs.

These are the sweet babies I’m needing to raise money for, all cleaned up. They are older and living in the conditions that they did, really need to get into the vet. Ringo is top priority with his embedded collar wound around his leg. (Pics on previous post)

My heart hurts for them because they are so scared and not sure what’s going on. They lived their life in one home and now everything is new.
It’s now officially my birthday and I can’t think of a better way to spend it than helping these babies🥰
We have gotten some donations so far but we are far below what it will take to get these kids to the vet. Thankfully they are all spayed/ neutered so that won’t be an expense we have to worry about. Mom did good with that part❤️
Once I get the all clear from the vet, they will be up for adoption. If you are interested in a sweet, forever companion, look no further. These babies will steal your heart 💜 They have mine!

I’m absolutely sick right now. Ringo smelled worse than all the rest and I looked and his collar was wrapped around his neck and front leg. IT WAS EMBEDDED!!!! I bathed him and will get him to the vet as quick as I can. I’ve got some antibiotics and I’ll start them tonight. In the condition he was living, I’m honestly surprised he’s even still alive. He’s a pretty old guy.

Ok supporters, I know it’s Christmas time but I need your help. Today I went and rescued 6 chihuahuas from a horrible situation. The mother passed away and these babies have been living on their own pretty much for the last 6 months in squalor. The family was overwhelmed and didn’t know what to do. They went to feed and water but that’s about all they could do.
It took me almost an hour to catch them all because they were terrified. They are really sweet and will need to go to the vets to be checked out because of the conditions they were living in.
Mom loved them dearly. The house just got away from her. Fortunately they are safe now and need our help.
I’m about to bathe them all and cut their nails because they literally smell like death and their nails are super long.
I said I was slowing down, but when I find out about dogs living in hoarding conditions, I can’t say no. Please, if you can spare ANYTHING towards these babies they are so deserving of it❤️ I’ll post good pictures after I get them groomed❤️

It’s giving Tuesday and I’m a little late posting!
We have a few expenses coming up and could use some donations❤️
Momma Clover is going to the vet Thursday and we are down to our last bag of dog food. I’ve been buying litter and cat food out of my own pocket.
I have a new kitten coming this week and possibly a momma dog with one week old puppies that are on their own out in the cold. I’m working on that as we speak.
