It’s that time again 👀 We are in dire need of WheelBarrels, with double wheels, so they don’t flip over when full of 💩!
Tractor Supply has their wheel barrels on sale!!! All of ours are busted☹️ We clean and scoop p**p twice a day and have to truck them across the property to dump so they get used and abused.
If you can find it in your heart to help us out so we can get new wheel barrels, we would so greatly appreciate it 🫶🏼🙏🐴💕

Also our little munchkin Stormy and Little man are healing up fabulous from their castration🙌🏼 Thanks again for all the prayers and good wishes!! It’s still NUTS around here🥜🤣

Today was Farrier day!! 💪🏼
I have to give a huge THANK YOU to our wonderful, amazing farrier and volunteers that came out this morning to help clean and hold horses💓 Wendy Jordan Apf-i you are so good with these babies!! I know sometimes it’s frustrating with the youngsters and the few that are planters🤣 but you definitely rock it and get it done!!
And for the volunteers, I would not make it without you🙏🫶🏼🙌🏼 We got 12 trims in today,👀 whew!!
That’s a lot!! 🥴 And at $45 each!!!

Say goodbye to “Studville” !! 👀

This morning was so miserably hot and full of gnats and castrations here at the rescue!!

First, Let me introduce our newest little sweet mini pony that lived his whole life with the 27 goats that we just took in last month.
Little Man is a 10 year old mini that was not gelded, until today!! 😆🤷🏻‍♀️
We’re hoping that he can join the other mini’s here after he heals!

Second, little Stormy got castrated as well today!! He did amazing!! And I have to say that Darby, his mommy, did great too! She stood right next to us the whole time and is now in the recovery stall with him. She keeps him sane and comfortable!💓

So please keep these two boys in your thoughts and prayers, that they have a speedy recovery and heal with no problems. 🙏🐴💕
And thank you Equine Wellness and Performance of Central Florida Dr. Biegel🙏 We appreciate you helping our littles today!
Thank you to everyone else that was here and helped! It sure was hot as Ballz🤣😆😂

It is with the saddest, heaviest, broken heart that I have to make this terrible update …. Crescent crossed the rainbow bridge very late last night😭

It was all so sudden and shocking. After the local vet worked on him for about four hours we loaded him up and took him down south to the emergency vet and there it was determined that he had a strangulating lipoma on his small intestines.

I am so sad and in shock😩 We waited 6 months to move him here and only had 26 days to spoil him! He received so much love and attention from all of us. Although very short I am extremely great full for the 26 days we had with him and am at peace knowing his final days were surrounded with love and treats 🍬!!

The doctor said it was nothing we did or didn’t do or could have done differently. Strangulating lipomas are very common in older horses and Crescent was born in 95-96, so he was 28 or 29 this year. He had one owner his whole life that took him all over the US on all kinds of trails and adventures.

Crescent, you were such a gentleman and I’m so glad we all got to know you and spoil you before you left this world to go on to horsey paradise 🥰 You showed Sonata love and kindness and in return all she wanted was your food😆 you knew that so you would move to the side and let her have it😆 such a sweet boy. We will so miss you but will see you again some day🫶 Rest easy sweet old man!! 💔

What started out as a wonderful day with Ashley and JoAnn bathing and grooming some of our beauties, turned horrifying 😩

Thank God they were there and noticed poor Crescent started showing signs of distress. Called the vet. We did some “troubleshooting” while on the phone and decided she needed to head on down.

He was definitely colicing. She gave him IV fluids and now after four hours of trying to clear the blockage and rehydrate him we are rushing him south to the emergency vet.

Please say a prayer for Crescent that he is ok and pulls through and another prayer for us and our safe travels.

We have no idea what this bill will be

I’m looking for donations of old kids play houses … as long as there not cracking apart I can use them, I can fix or repair anything else. Looking for little houses for Painted Horse Rescue need to get as many shelters as possible before the rain season!!! Thank you in advance
