Saturday was an extremely crazy, long and stressful day! We had 3 sponsors for the dental floats. We ended up getting 7 horses teeth floated and I have until Wednesday to pay Jessica’s Equine Dentistry. So if anyone has anything to spare or anything to add, we can always use the help!

I’ll start from the beginning….
Really late Friday night, Amanda and I were cleaning up everything from feeding everyone and some of the horses were starting to freak out. Texas ran to the front of the property by the gate so I ran over to see what the problem was. Lo and behold, there were 2 horses on the other side of the fence. They were beautiful and I had never seen them before so I had no idea where they came from.

I start yelling for Amanda to calmly bring me a couple of halters and lead ropes. She gets the halters, ropes and my phone over to me 🙏. I immediately call Kamron and told him what was happening so they came to help. We got the 2 lost horses haltered and in our property secure. Our horses were freaking out!!! But it was cute!

We got all the horses situated and everyone went home and we went to bed. Saturday morning comes and I wake up and see the Hotwire down😳!! I’m like great!! I can see them swimming in the pond and just running around so I get ready quick and get out there. The Equine dentist gets there right at this time and I start freaking out because the donkeys are gone!!! GONE!!! Nowhere to be seen😩 So I send Kamron a message while almost in tears, trying to get the horses haltered and ready to get their teeth done. So so stressful!

Long story short, Kamron went looking for them all up in the berm, down the dirt road and in goat creek. Didn’t find them but did find the owners of the horses. 🙌🏼They live across the busy road. (Those two boys are so lucky they didn’t get hit by a truck or car on this scary, busy road. I’m so glad we were able to catch them and keep them safe for the evening!)

About that time I see something out of the corner of my eye, way off in the distance and yep!! There they are! Way back in the neighors property. Thank Jesus! So Kamron went around there and got them back🥴 Those mischievous donkeys!!!!

Thank goodness Jessica with Jessica’s Equine Dentistry could hold her own and thank goodness Mrs. Kathy G. showed up at 10 and helped us ALL out with everything!! And shortly after thank goodness Mr.John got here to help! What a lifesaver!! I am so grateful for ALL of our volunteers and everyone that comes out to help or sends donations/feed /hay! We truly appreciate ALL OF YOU!

Oh!! One more thing happened…. Sometime during the night, while we were rescuing horses from getting hit by cars, Kamron’s heifer cow gave birth to a healthy baby bull💞 His picture is the last one in these photos. That boy is so stinking adorable 🥰 🐮🤠

💞Three warrior princesses💞

These 3 little ladies are thriving 💪🏼 and doing great now!! We treated them for a few different things. Dewormed them and they are so happy now!! Thank you to everyone who helped and devoted their time and energy with us to get them healthy. And thank you to everyone who prayed for them and to those that send yummy snacks and treats. 🙌🏼 It is all very much appreciated and loved.💞

Dental health is extremely important to the overall health of a horse. If a horse has poor dental health, it could lead to other conditions.
Horses' teeth need to be regularly filed down to prevent painful enamel points and to create a more even bite.

With that being said, we have an equine dentist coming out this Saturday, February 1st! The cost is $150 per horse with a 4 horse minimum but we have 8 that need to be seen and worked on. If you would like to sponsor a horse or any of the cost we would greatly appreciate the help! Any and all help is needed. Even help holding halters and lead ropes.

This is our first time seeing this Dentist so we are very excited to meet her. We normally have our other guy come and use his hand tools but I was told that every 2 or 3 years it’s good to have them sedated so everything can be seen and addressed. Our goal is 8 horses, but definitely 4 sets of these beauties teeth will be floated!! 🦷

Baby goat update…..

They all seem to be doing so much better today. Thank goodness! Thank you all for your prayers and support.🙏

They have been eating hay all day and grain a couple of times today. All three are drinking and using the potty EVERYWHERE 😳 LOL!!!
We are doing shifts to check on them throughout the day and to clean up after them.🤣

2AM update on the Three Warrior Princesses…..
They are all doing much better. Finally using the bathroom and drinking a little warm water with electrolytes. The 3rd one finally just got up and is moving around. I think they are going to make it but goats are so sensitive. They sometimes look fine one minute and then a couple of hours later you can find them passed. So we’re praying that doesn’t happen. But with a body temp of 98 that’s supposed to be 104 is very touchy. It’s like hypothermia. They wouldn’t have made it another 2 hours if the person didn’t bring them to us. We were told there were 8 total and these crazy cold temperatures and freezing rain took the other 5. 😥

Meet our new intakes!! 2 month old babies. We had an emergency call this evening that these little guys weren’t handling the cold very well. There were 8 and only 3 survivors made it here to the rescue. 😩 Their body temperatures were 98 and it should be 104. They were cold and wet and they are sitting in front of the heater getting their bodies back up to the right temp!! Say hello to the Three Little Warrior Princesses! 💪

Spa day / Farrier day went awesome!! Only a couple of bumps in the road but everyone was able to enjoy their spa treatment!!!💞

We trimmed 6 horses and 3 donkeys and had 6 sponsors 🙌🏼 WooHoo 🥳 Thank you!!

⏰Spa day tomorrow, Thursday, for our 6 week trims!! ⏰

We have 8 trims that we need sponsored for tomorrow ♥️
Remember we decided 6 weeks ago that we would split up our farrier visits and have Justin Mackey here every 3 weeks. That way it’s not so hard on the horses, Justin, and all of us. Trims are $50 each and it is a very important part in keeping these guys and gals healthy and happy 💙

💞WISHLIST WEDNESDAY 💞

This week we are still in need of bales of Timothy for all the animals!!! There are so many mouths to feed here that eat the Timothy hay, including the tortoises🐢🤣 We would really appreciate it if you are able to call in and donate towards a bale for us!!! A bale of Timothy is $17 at Hay Direct Malabar. Feel free to stop by their facility from 2-6 daily at 650 Hall Rd. Malabar or call them at 321-626-5727 to prepay for the hay. Or as always our links are below if you’d rather send it to us and I will write a check.

We would like to give a huge thank you to Stefanie at Stud Crud Busters for taking care of our boys!!💪🏼💞🤣
She stopped in on Saturday and gave all the boys a good cleaning!! We usually see her every 6 months or a little after. I’d say she’s the best and all the boys love her, if ya know what I mean😉 wink wink 😜🤣♥️🙏

🎠Tomorrow🎠 January 3rd 🎠
PEDI / FARRIER DAY🥳 Yes, it’s been 3 weeks already!!!😜 Snuck up on all of us!!
So, we are in need of about 5-8 sponsors $50 a trim. If you remember, we decided to split the trims up and have the farrier out every 3 weeks.
