Listen ....I know I don't understand a lot of styles, but can we just agree that maybe you don't understand THIS particular style?
This is not a "trapper" hat, faux fur is terrible for the earth, it is most definitely way too big for this model, and it's on backwards.

Debooger & Degrease
For those wondering why degreasing takes so long, this is the color of the skull after the flesh is removed and before it gets whitened. It's this yellowish color because of how much blood and grease is in the bone. The degreasing process pulls that stinky yellow grease stain out & then it's ready to be whitened.
And for the people that say they just boil theirs.... You're actually cooking that blood and grease deeper into the bone and it will surface and stink over time. There will always be guys saying "well that's how I did it 20 years ago and mine is fine" I can assure you it's not. It's brittle, it stinks, and it is not properly preserved.
