Nor Cal Mini Aussies Miniature Australian Shepherds are great family dogs. They are a good medium size dog that can be either indoor, outdor or both.

Miniature Australian Shepherds are working dogs who have a need for "work". They require not only exercise such as walks but need mental stimulation as well to be content. An unhappy Mini Aussie can become very mischievous when he/she is bored. This doesn't mean that they are unruly dogs but actually reveals their intelligence.
