Afternoon followers, these animals are on stray holds and they would absolutely love to go back to their homes. Do you recognize any of them?

Black Lab Mix - allegedly found running south of 30 Rd and 281 - south of BTI John Deer on 11-29-2024 and will become available for adoption starting 12-6-2024.

Dark Grey/Black German Wirehair/Irish Wolfhound mix type dog with orange collar, picked up in the 200 block of Elm in Great Bend on 12-2-2024. The finder stated the dog had been showing up on and off and somehow got into the backyard. The dog could be used for hunting due to the breed and orange collar, we are just guessing to help find the owner. If not claimed, will become available for adoption starting 12-9-2024.

Black/White/Tan Mix Breed was found in the 20th and Jackson area on 11-29-2024. If not claimed, she will become available for adoption starting on 12-6-2024.

A great day for football 🏈, holiday decorating and picture taking in front of a new holiday background, staff creating their own tree, visits from a pheasant, volunteer help and some delicious leftovers for the win. (How about those CHEIFS?!?)

Not to mention, two dog and three cat adoptions happened today!

Boomer (black dog), Calibur (tan dog) and Franz (big kitty being held by Pam our volunteer before he was adopted) all landed their forever homes today! And, two kittens that were in foster care were adopted.

A fun day for sure and hope to have a few more adoptions on Saturday for the FurDay Adoption Event starting at 12pm - 3p.
