🤍Looking for potential guardian homes 🤍

We are looking for responsible and loving potential Guardian Homes for our future moms and dads of Big Sky Acre Danes. This is a unique opportunity to care for an incredible dog while being part of a program dedicated to this magnificent breed.

A Guardian Home allows the dog to live as part of your family full-time while remaining part of our breeding program for a set period. After their time in the program, they are fully yours!

Requirements:
📍Must be within 3 hours of Great Falls, MT
🔘Must provide a loving and stable home along with safety and security
🔘 Must provide responsible vet care, upkeep on nails, socializing, training, shots and preventatives just as you would to any pet
🔘 Must have a secure yard—either fenced in or ability to keep leashed and attended when outside.
🔘 Must agree to and sign a contract outlining care and program responsibilities and expectations for both parties

There is a significantly reduced fee, if not zero, compared to purchasing outright to take on a Guardian dog, but most importantly this is a partnership that requires understanding, communication and commitment.

We will never overcrowd our pack or house them outdoors in kennels in order to grow. As of right now our dogs that are close to retiring we could not see ourselves rehoming them. They are our family and will continue to be so. ❤️

So in order to continue our program we begin the search for guardian homes. 🤍

This year has been one of love, life, and loss 💔 on December 5th we laid our precious Willow to rest. When I first saw her available, I knew I had to add her to our family. She quickly became Gus’s lady, my son’s buddy, & the first and best mother we have had in our program. Many had bonded to her over the years, and I’m pretty sure my husband was her favorite. You left a big hole in our hearts Willow. Thank you for being a girls best friend 🐾

Darby has lost 12 lbs since she weighed in last week 😳 so to keep weight on her, help her keep up with milk supply, and support her nutrition when she doesn’t feel like eating kibble 😝 she gets to eat satin balls! These are also great for during pregnancy, or if you have a dog that is struggling to gain weight. Lots of protein and essential nutrients 🥩 Here is the recipe we have been using since 2019 🤓 * 10lbs ground chuck 80/20 * 32 whole eggs * 2/3 cup flax seed * 3/4 c. Coconut oil * 3/4 c. EVOO * 8 cups oatmeal Mix together. Make patties or balls. I make patties for easy storage. Freeze them and take out a package to thaw for the next couple days.
