How can these babies be 4 years old already!

This was a Christmas I won’t forget! I hosted the family as we knew Amaya was expecting puppies any moment. Amaya spent most of her day nesting under the Christmas tree while all the chaos and festivities continued on as planned.

Once the house was quiet miss Amaya started heavy labor and by daylight the kids had a second Christmas surprise - PUPPIES!!!

Jax and Kobe went home yesterday and now only Mowgli (FKA Reese’s) remains!

Mowgli goes home Friday… until then he’s just one of the pack here at my house! He had a great first night w/o his littermates!

🎉 It’s official- these six handsome boys all have loving families waiting for them!!! 👏

These babies start going home next week… people often ask me “how do you ever let them leave?” … here’s my answer:

I love these babies- I literally put weeks of blood, sweat, and tears into making them into the best pups they can be… but they reach a point where me, one person, can no longer give them what they need! Their awake window is longer, their energy is higher, their intellect is greater than what I can provide- so it’s time for them to go home to families who have been anxiously awaiting that big day. Of course I will miss them - but I’m so excited for their next journey to begin!
