Distinguishing the difference between egg follicle development and ovulation can be a little tricky sometimes.What was originally perceived to be more follicle development the other day turned out to be the onset of ovulation. Everything happened so fast this time for this soon to be second time mama...the event took place just twelve days after last copulation (45 days since first) which is good as shorter times between last lock and big "O" are usually associated with higher fertility. If all goes well, should have some new hatchlings sometime during the first week of April🤞🙂🤞

A week away from expected hatch date. Removed tape from some of the drilled holes in SIM Container to add more ventilation as condensation intensifies and eggs begin to dent while dropping temp slightly. This is a repeat pairing (Manokwari/Cyclops), therefore easy to predict how these guys will turn out...looking forward to meeting the new "Class of 23"🙃

After a month of mating activity then ovulating, mama had her POS (post ovulation shed) which now makes it easy to predict more Brazilian Rainbow Boas should be arriving sometime around early/mid June🙃
