Family got evicted and they are now sleeping in their car as of tonight. They have a 11yr female kitty named Lacie. They desperately need a place for her, as their car is too hot.

This notorious hound has been spotted on the run all over Greenbrier, Ar for over a mth. Finially surrendered himself to a couple neighbors, one of which was able to secure him and help foster.

He has been given Nexguard, bathed and wants to be inside. He does however have diarrhea and lack of appetite and needing further vet care. If you are a rescue who could potientially use a foster and help this baby boy, ease let me know.

Edit to add: they do have access into shade, the house door is open and they go inside. All 3 pups are still there as of 6/28
Blondie is male, others are female. Many ticks a soot on them

Need immediate placement/rehome for 3 puppies about 8- 10wks old- no vetting has been done to any of the dogs on property, so they will need all their puppy shots and fixed when old enough. Damascus Ar.

They are not safe living on side of hwy. Been told many have died from being hit there and the multiple litters from multiple females. Owner has refused help in past and now house caught fire last weekend. Per neighbors, no one has been there but dogs are there. Not sure what to about adults left on the property yet... some adults are missing from when i was there in earlier Spring, either been hit and killed, shot, injuried or house fire.

Buster was vetted at Companions this morning and wound addressed, however, he needing an emergency temporary foster while heals and will need to be crated indoors. If can not find a foster today and owner is not able to manage him due to his health, then may have to be euth. If tou can be a temp foster for this dog, please message me or Tamara Avery asap.

Chewy needs our help. Young male Rottie who is deaf, and lives out of an apartment in Greenbrier. Chewy is now considered in danger by both possibly owner abuse and by community.

Chewy is often loose, and has always been a sweet sociial butterfly. Unfortunately, his behavior is changing and becoming aggressive and fearful of people, especially children. He is not safe to be running loose for protection of the community or for his sake.

Only recentlylearned, the reason for his changing behavior is due to reports of owners hitting and dragging him. Police report to be made, however, outcome very double edge sword.

Said, that owner would most likely surrender him. He will need a safe place to be fostered ( no kids or small pets for safety reasons) while needing training to be that sweet sociable guy again. Is anyone willing to help spread the word and help Chewy get out of this bad situation, where he is being setup for failure and avoid it costing him his life?

Remember STRAW only. No other bedding material. And please see how the holes were cut higher in the side to prevent water more effectively. Pool noodles and some creativity go a long way for being safe with potential sharp edge protection.

Opossums LOVE old coolers. The stinkier the better sometimes too. The stink will attract them. - add in some lean proteins and leafy greens for them to find and you’ll have winter and baby season boarders in no time.

Update: i did go back by once roads were passable and dog on chain and cats in cage were not there and appeared to have been brought inside 😉

Update 1/10: talked to owner further today and they declined need for help or a dog house, stating they have plans to bring him inside when it gets colder. This is great news! There are closer to 50 cats there (loose) and all look healthy and many friendly. Their other dogs i saw are healthy and plump, few select animals on property under weight. Explained rescues are actively reaching out to community to assist in dog and cat shleter, straw, traps and food. They did accept my number , should they or anyone else need assistance.
That being said, this is a never ending issue and requires patience, time, and finesse. There are 3 more dogs needing shelter prior winter. 2 stray aussies pups and 1 stray dog James Sprag posted earlier in Choctaw. There is no place for them to go and neighbors can't afford to help them. Donated food and dog houses woukd be greatly appreciated.

Update: I have dog food to donate and several offers on a dog house and possibly some help with shelters for cats, which are greatly appreciated! I will make contact with owners again tomorrow and hopefully they will allow me to assist them with the shelter and then i can get back with everyone.

I was in area and recalled this dog from last yr who lives tied to a tree, thin, little to no shelter. Stopped by and owner agreeable for me putting straw out for him. But... he needs a dog house and food and water. Video in comments. There is a 4inch gap in back wind blows straight through. There are multiple cats on property and 3-4 cat living in an open cage with no shelter or provisions i could see but not certain. I believe that is hay the horse is eating... older man in home said he was doing okay and didn't need anything.

We are not looking to remove any animals, just help improve their living conditions and care if they allow.

WROOF provided a few temporary outdoor cat shelters today with up-coming winter weater. Insulated 6 sides with foam sheets and layered between with straw to fill gaps and straw bedding. ($7 tote-walmart, $3 foam board- walmart, $7 for full sq bale straw, used maybe $1 worth) Simple and anyone can make.

I am Sally Zahner in Shirley, AR. I am a member of the Fairfield bay Animal Protection League and former Vice President on their board. I posted about three blond dogs on Facebook recently. I am urgently trying to help them get a foster or fosters. They have been dumped and are in a subdivision neighborhood where two people are actively threatening to shoot them since they’ve gotten into trash. I have recently gotten them to trust me and they are catchable. Clinton’s shelter and Fairfield bay can't help. I am not familiar with rescues. In the message above you offered to call some. I can put them in my garage if I know a rescue will take them soon. I’m not a nut but I love animals or else I wouldn’t be bugging you. I just want help calling the network of contacts you have to save them.

Vouchers are available at the following locations at this time:

Farmer's Association-2691 AR-367, Cabot (M-S, 7:30-6pm)

Two bales of straw are allowed per voucher. If you don't need 2 bales, please don't be greedy. We want to ensure every outdoor pet has access to the straw, so please be kind and only take what you need. More locations will be added this afternoon!
