We are having our grand opening of the Greene Dog Park Saturday,August 24th from 10 to 2pm. We plan on a lot of cool stuff for the day. Details to follow. But First.. We want to give thanks to lots of people who have helped this to become a reality. And today we say THANK YOU to.... T & J Construction for running our crew of silly volunteers. If you see Tim and Josh Braman, please thank them for their efforts. These guys donated their time and expertise to help us install our fencing the and make YOUR dog park a reality. The community spirit Tim and Josh displayed was truly amazing. We cannot thank these guys enough. They gave up time with their families to help us (and along with their brother Bob Braman from Genegantslet Carpentry) we put in a long last day to get it done. Thank you too, to Carly and Ashley for allowing your guys to help us bring this wonderful new addition to Greene. If you need some excavating work done, or even some carpentry... these are the guys to call! From all of us at the Friends of the Greene Dog Park, Inc...Thank You guys.. Opening Day at The Greene Dog Park. Jett and Ruby okeydokeyed it.

We did a trial run today with Jett and Ruby. Are we ready to open yet? We are very close... A few things to know. Bring your own water for your dogs. There are actually 2 different areas. One for large dogs and one for small dogs. There is a double Gated area so do not unleash your dogs until you are inside and both gates are closed. If there are other dogs in the park, be cautious and take your time. Let dogs smell each other through the fence. And always keep your leash on you while inside the park. There is a can with bags in them. Please clean up after your pooch. Please look for signs on where to park and how to exit. We are opening soon.... DETAILS COMING

Wanted... 10 people who love dogs and can lend a hand helping us get the dog park in Greene Started This Saturday, June 8th, at The SHOP on rt 12. Can you lend a hand for a few hours on Saturday??
