You and your guests will take away memories to cherish for a lifetime when you have our horses and carriages at your event. Indiana Carriage, based in Greenfield, provides horse-drawn carriage rides for weddings, hay rides, funerals, and other special events throughout Central Indiana.

Nothing is more fun than bringing Santa to the neighborhood and seeing the kid's eyes light up when we stop in front of their house. Marty (the horse) and I have done this for several years and it never gets old.

This is our view for most of December as we bring holiday wagon rides to several neighborhoods. This is our new team of Percherons, Larry and Lonnie. We love creating memories for so many families. And for me, a great way to be remembered.

Meet Larry. He is new to us this year, a five year old Percheron. He has done several events with us. Here Adi is putting in a braid as we get ready for a funeral. He currently works with Duke on funerals and with his buddy Lonnie on all other events. Larry is a great horse in the making.

Nothing better than making kids happy. We did two days of hayrides at Crabapple Creek Country Day School. Lonnie and Larry (our new team) learned a lot and worked hard. They will be great partners in Indiana Carriage.

Much of our business is horse drawn funerals. We have recently added a new offering with the motorcycle hearse. It's a very special way to give the final ride for a motorcycle enthusiast. The hearse is powered by a Harley Davidson Road King. For more information please give us a call or inquire with your funeral director. Our new website will be operational very soon with more photos and information.

I haven't posted for a long time but will add some photos, etc soon. We had a great hayride season. This is us with our new team doing a hayride on a beautiful Indiana evening.

There is a rich history and much tradition associated with horse drawn carriages. Public carriages for hire were once very common and every city and town had it's quota of livery stables. There were large numbers of passenger vehicles on the streets with some carrying as many as forty people at one time. Horse drawn vehicles in public service lasted until well into the 20th century, now they are one of the most exclusive means of transportation in the world today.
