Good morning from a baby and a good dog! She is so careful not to get out of control excited with him. She preemptively keeps her distance.
It takes time for a pup to learn that a state of calm is rewarded, but Birdie knows. And that baby is so proud of his big fur sister.

Powerful example of what can happen if you don't KNOW your dog, KNOW their triggers, KNOW their strengths and their weaknesses. It's essential to the safety of our dogs and the safety of others to be honest about WHO THEY ARE.
These dogs were aggressive at the door when this girl entered the home alone for the first time. But I guarantee this WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME they had shown aggressive behavior at the door. Training, behavior modification and building a new lifestyles is possible. But not if we aren't honest about our situation and who our dogs are.
The owners of these two dogs are responsible for the fact that they asked someone to enter their home KNOWING their dogs weren't able to control themselves at the front door. So they are responsible for her suffering and the euthanasia of the two dogs who attacked her.

Your dog is YOUR responsibility. Do your research, be honest and ask for help if you need it.
