Frankie Sinatra from our December ‘23 litter has been crowned 👑 King 👑 of the Charlotte, NC we**ie walk! He is the second puppy from us that has been crowned king and lives with the first puppy from Little Nest Dachunds that was previously king! Way to go Frankie and his mom for supporting such a great cause!

About: Frankie is a younger biological brother to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow - I know, I know…2 doxie puppies 7 months apart? Am I crazy?? Short answer is yes. Long answer is that the opportunity presented itself to adopt Frankie, and I knew that it was the right decision and that my boys would have built in BFF’s for life! Frankie is an old soul in a puppy body - he’s also loyal, loud, hasn’t found anything yet that he doesn’t like to chew on (including his brother), loves a car ride and a pup cup, thinks stealing spoons is amazing (see pic 😂) and gives great hugs! He will also lick your face completely off if allowed. He makes me laugh all the time with his puppy antics and I will always be glad that I ignored all voices of reason and brought him home! ❤️

📣 Announcement 📣

We are still very much active at Little Nest Dachshunds, but we are on a pause! We only have 2 (1 female, 1 male) breeding dogs currently in our program, meaning our litters are very limited and spaced out. Our mama is very healthy & a great mom - so yes, she will have a future litter but this may be sometime around late 2024 to early 2025.

At this time we are focusing on other areas of our lives and giving our breeding dogs a break. The health and happiness of our dogs comes before anything else!

We will still gladly accept puppy applications so that you can be added to our waitlist and speak with you in regards to our next litter!

If you are wanting a puppy in the more immediate future, we will gladly refer you to breeders with the same moral and ethical values of our own.

Our stud dog is not available for outside stud service at this time or for the foreseeable future.

This was a really cool moment for me!

I got to meet up with one of my puppy families and visit with a puppy from my first litter (Henry)! It was amazing to see up close and personal how much this sweet boy has grown and how beautifully he has turned out with the sweetest personality! Definitely a heartwarming moment for me to reunite with a puppy who I pour so much of my life and love into for 9-10 weeks of their lives & to get to see him thriving at almost a year old now is just the best feeling ever!!! I appreciate Henry’s mom so much for visiting with us!

Henry from our last litter and Freddie from our most current litter have an undeniable brotherly bond! Big brother Henry is showing Freddie the ropes! Older sister Gracie is tolerating these small long brown dogs, but she graciously shares her blankets and I’m sure her heirloom wisdom to these two rambunctious baby brothers!

To the Lipka family on her newest addition! This family brought home a puppy from our last litter (Henry Wadsworth Longfellow) and I am so excited that there will be 2 Little Nest Dachshund brothers together! I am very excited for this family and I can’t wait to see what adventures these brothers will get up to together!
