The Yunnan Mountain Rat Snake (Oreocryptophis Porphyraceus Pulchra) is a subspecies of Bamboo Rat Snakes found in China. They are a small, secretive snake with striking red colors. The scientific name "Oreocryptophis" roughly translates to "secret mountain snake," as they tend to spend a lot of time burrowing. They do best at cooler temps, ours are kept at an ambient temp around 74°F with night drops into high 60°s. Our individuals have a very strong feeding response and never miss a meal. These snakes are a perfect candidate for a bioactive set-up as they stay small and are generally active.

The Kimberley Rock Monitor (Varanus Glauerti) is a small, slender rock- and tree-dwelling monitor lizard found throughout the Kimberley region in northwestern Australia. Adults rarely, if ever, grow beyond 3ft in length. They are mainly insectivorous, but will eat a wide variety of prey items. Basking temperature for these lizards is very high; we keep our main basking spot at 130°F. Ambient temperature range is 80°F-88°F. We provide a large humid hide at 80%-90% humidity instead of misting the entire enclosure. Initially more skittish than Ackie Monitors, they can become very sociable with slow and regular trust building. As far as monitors go, Kimberley Rock Monitors are an excellent choice of a small, intermediate-level monitor.

This is one of our breeder Rhino Rat Snakes (Gonyosoma Boulengeri). They are best known for the rostral protrusion, or "horn", on their snouts. Coming from northern Vietnam and southern China, they are generally calm and relatively easy to keep, preferring slightly cooler temperatures and mid-range humidity. Neonates hatch gray and experience an ontogenetic color change to green over about 24 months. Adults range in size from 3.5-5 feet and are typically arboreal, spending most of their time out in the open. These snakes are perfect for somebody looking for a unique but still easy to keep snake.

This is the Crested Gecko also known as the eyelash gecko (Correlophus Ciliatus). This species is an amazing beginner lizard for anyone who is starting out with reptiles due to its ease of care. Most do well in a house ambient temperature range of 70-78 degrees and do not require UV lighting. This species is extremely hardy and easy to handle once accustom to its surroundings. Stay tuned to see what other species we have plans for!

This is Indominus Rex our male Jungle Carpet
Python “Morelia spilota cheynei”.

Jungle Carpet Pythons are a great alternative if you are looking for a active medium sized python. This species has a great feeding response and they are a super hardy snake that is forgiving to keeper error. Stay tuned to see what other species we are working with!
