This horse’s story is near and dear to my heart. A lovely client took this mare in and the first picture is shortly after she stepped in and rescued her. With the help of a great team consisting of vets, farrier, dentist, and a loving determined owner, this mare has come a long way. For my part, went in and floated, extracted a couple fractured and abscessed molars, and rebalanced the cheek teeth and aligned the incisors. Thank you everyone for all you do! She sure is in great loving hands now. This comes to show the turn around that these guys can have in the right hands and an awesome team!

It’s getting to be that time again! We’re getting into cold weather seasons, make sure to keep your horse in tip top shape going into winter. From older guys with fractured and worn molars, to the younger guys with caps and fragments, everyone should be checked and floated every 6 months. Have you called your dentist lately?
