The horses are loving these warm days and green grass!
A light workout in the round pen followed by some stretching helps to keep our senior equine guides feeling their best 💛. Notice Te allows this without a halter or lead. He knows how good it feels and of course a piece of carrot helps too 🥕

New treatments for an old injury
Dusty pulled a muscle this past spring. We have tried many different methods to help him heal but he continues to have a short stride on his right hind leg. This is affecting his whole body causing tight and sore muscles.
He receives massages from Abby na d Roxanna plus anti inflammatory medication and supplements. However, it seemed like his bright silly light wasn’t the same.
Luckily the universe put a fabulous equine massage therapist in my path at the Wannamaker Christmas Festival and we struck up a conversation waiting for the carriage ride.
Today we definitely made progress but there is more to go.
Just like all of us on our journey to releasing chronic stress & anxiety, we may feel lighter in our body but our mind continues to tell us the same limiting stories.
We have to allow ourselves to release the old and embrace the new so we may continue forward without limitations.
