We do not advise any pup family to spay or neuter until mature.Here at SD&P we are committed to breeding with purpose. We have a strict contract which we do enforce . Anyone can put a male & female together however we are committed with a plan in place & at times we plan a pairing years in advance.. ❤️

Bo has had numerous admirers but so far none have been “perfect “. We do not home our poodles in just any home, we wait until it’s the Perfect Home. Bo is 13 weeks.

My Standard Sullivan the Sire of our current Litter was the very last boy available and I got him at 11 to 12 weeks. The rest missed out because Sullivan is a absolute dream . I would put him against any in the Poodle world. My Standard Isabelle the Dam of current litter (even though she looks just as she did before) when born I was blessed enough to have fist pick of her litter. With each of my precious Standard Poodles ( NOT JUST DOGS ) I have endured nothing but pure obedience, loyalty, protection of me, not to mention both are Superior Examples of Conformation in the Poodle Breed Standards. I love them like my children. I take pride in their offspring & treat them with a high honor. They are nurtured, loved , disciplined , trained and raised with several curriculums as well as things I incorporate that I have raised my very own Standards with. To find out that some Breeders don’t raise pups the way they “claim” too. I’m appalled. Shame on you. The truth shall set you free….

4️⃣ Standard Poodles went home over the weekend. From Kentucky to Louisiana, Shackleford Doodles and Poodles made this lovely family of nine complete with some lovable, loyal poodles.

Redirecting is when you get the pup’s attention away from something you don’t want them interacting with by moving their focus onto an alternative item. Redirection is helpful for if puppy is getting nippy/mouthy, or if they have grabbed something you don’t want them to have.

You can practice redirecting your pup as often as you like. The more you do it, the eaiser it will be!
