SC โ€”> West Virginia! These two were angels during transport, they pottied at every stop, played hard and slept great. Not once did they exhibit signs of anxiety. This is our goal and what we strive for; happy, healthy puppies that create positive associations with travel because of their positive experience with us. The breeders do such an excellent job showing these little guys what love and kindness is for the beginning months of their lives and we are honored to be an extension of that treatment as we get them to their final destination! And side note, how great is it that these siblings get to romp and roll together for the rest of their lives?? So excited for them and their new hoomans, happy lives little buddies! ๐Ÿพ

Hey fellow puppy lovers! I want to formally introduce myself as the new face of (formerly David Owens) now Kellett Family Pet transport ๐Ÿ˜„ My name is Cody and I will be transporting and posting all of the puppy adorableness from now on. A little about myself โ€” Iโ€™m a Greenville native with a huge passion for animals. Growing up on a farm, Iโ€™ve been around all sorts of species my whole life and have always wanted to own a business where I got to continue to be around animals in some capacity. God placed this opportunity in my life recently and Iโ€™m so stoked to continue on this amazing path that David has started caring for and transporting pups to their forever homes! Stay tuned to follow the cutest pups on the east coast on their journeys to their forever homes and the occasional post of my fur babies in the in between!

We've had quite the adventure recently! 3 babies to NJ this past week, then We took 5 through Pennsylvania, NYC, and ending up in Connecticut!

The reason we stand out from every other transport model on the East Coast, and maybe in the country, is clearly apparent in my reviews. But it boils down to this: puppy centered mentality throughout the entire process.

Puppies are young, but smart, and just like human children they're experiences shape their behavior. It's scientifically proven that they show emotions similar to humans and other intelligent animals. They develop learned behavior in much the same way we do. Traumatic experiences affect the their entire lives. This is why so many professional training programs have switched over to a positive reinforcement method. This is why so many rescue dogs have to be psychologically rehabilitated and can take years to change behavior.

Most pet dogs are going to spend a lot of time in a vehicle over the course of their lives. It's important to pet owners for their dogs to like riding in the car. And it's important to do that, to create a positive experience with travel. Countless times I have had parents tell me that it's heartbreaking every time they have to take their dog anywhere and it becomes overrun with anxiety, refuses to get in the car starts drooling and panting heavily. I've even had pet parents tell me that they have other dogs that they literally unfortunately cannot take anywhere unless it's a necessary visit to the vet. So other than the fact that we find most methods of animal transport just simply disgusting, this is the reason we put so much emphasis on puppy-centered delivery. This is why we work directly with breeders, to group parents together so litter mates can ride together, This is why we stop and literally crawl into the back of our vehicles to play with the puppies. This is why we don't pick up any other dogs other than your litters, so transport can be as efficient and quick as safely possible. This is why solo transports (single puppies) get extra care and attention, as they do not have litter mates to distract them. And this is why special needs cases like wolf dogs and others work so well with our direct route business model.

I'm very happy and proud to say these most recent deliveries showed absolutely no signs of stress on their travel. One of the first signs of animal stress is decreased intake of food and water. All of these puppies not only ate their full recommended daily dosage, drink plenty of water, never had an accident in their crate, they were literally wrestling and playing the whole time, they were clearly happy.

Out of all the beautiful sights I see, I never have time to take pictures.

But being a huge office fan you know I had to stop and eat lunch and Scranton Pennsylvania. Dunder Mifflin is not a real place here, but someone has jokingly put them on Google Maps and it was worth taking a picture anyway. Here is "Dunder Mifflin".

Hey everyone, we're doing it!!!! We are still transporting puppies for hire with all of the same standards, nothing has changed, BUT....*drumroll** ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ we're getting into the rescue sector! Our plan is to help high anxiety special needs rescues that need the only the kind of transport I can provide, a lot of these rescues need to be moved across the country to better facilitate their rehabilitation and adoption process, and these rescues simply cannot afford to pay much for transport, it usually doesn't even cover gas costs!!!! We're asking anyone who's able to donate a dollar or two and more importantly to share this message with as many as possible!!!! So excited!!!!

Public service announcement: Please don't breed wolf hybrids, And please discourage anyone you know from doing so, and discourage anyone you know from buying one. Most people who try to adopt them end up not being able to take care of them, they have special needs, they nip, bite, destroy, don't listen, they can't be trained the way a regular dog can be, they are wild. Whatever commitment getting a dog is, getting a wolf hybrid is 100 fold that commitment. It takes a lot of time, dedication, and willingness to be bitten, and have destroyed items, it takes money. Most Wolf hybrids will end up in a shelter going from home to home until they are euthanized. JUNO WAS LUCKY, that a couple who dedicates their lives to helping wolf hybrids adopted him. Living a life of traumatically being ripped from your home over and over again is no life to live. You can see the fear and anxiety in them, losing a home is traumatic. There are not enough rescues in this world to take all the hybrids. I feel so blessed to be able to be part of this rescue. Thank you to everyone involved.

Juno! A beautiful little (60lb) timber wolf hybrid! From SC to Colorado!
This sweet little guy was a rescue, and definitely has some abandonment anxiety. He's very shut down to strangers, meaning in order to properly take care of him, feed, water and let him go to the bathroom, I had to earn his trust. Part of the miss meant laying down with him for cuddles for a while, and just being patient, (wolves bond well with cuddling), he finally opened up and let me take him on his potty breaks. We're halfway there!!!!
