Sharing for a friend of ours! Message us if you think you would be a great candidate for these sweet Goldens! They Must stay together. ❤️

These sweet golden pups are in search of a forever home TOGETHER. They were found on the side of the road ON 9/12 and the male was unable to walk due to having the exterior skin on his paw pads torn off. Her paws pads are injured also, but not as severely so she gets around fine. They were both seen by our vet on 9/13 and are on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications. He is able to walk now, but still favors both front paws and it makes him walk a bit funny. I have been using booties when letting him outside and he walks much more comfortably with those on. But needs help with stairs and getting in/out of vehicles. The male has a testicle that did not drop and will need to be neutered. Otherwise the vet saw no other physical issues with either of them. They are crate trained (no accidents in the crate at all since we have had them) and will go in the crate when told- but they are NOT house broken. I believe they came from a breeding situation and were dumped. It is obvious that she has had a few liters of puppies.
They are approximately 6-7 years old and weigh 52lbs (male) 59lbs (female). They have been treated with flea/tick prevention that is effective for 12weeks and they will come with the remainder of their food and medications.
They are extremely sweet, snuggly and want all the attention and loving they can get. They need a family that has time and patience to teach basic manners and training. In typical golden fashion- they love a good round of fetch 🎾
Flaws: The female will grab any food that she can get to- and I don’t blame her.
The male likes to chew towels and blankets- if he is lying on or near it, he balls it up and starts chewing.
We have 2 dogs of our own and they have done well around each other. The female will slightly growl, but it is not in an aggressive manner.
I am asking for a rehoming fee to ensure they go to a great home. A vet reference is preferred. If we do not feel that you are the best fit for them, we will kindly decline and continue our search for the perfect home.
