It's almost weaning season! Here is the first of our 2024 foal crop -
Meet "Bama" aka Highbrow Catfish!
This flashy c**t has two opposite white socks to match his big blaze face - and he is becoming more of a looker every day! We've just started halter breaking and tying him for short periods of time. He's a curious and quick learning c**t - it's hard to list him! He will make an absolute dream of a horse to a show home if desired, or he will make an amazing ranch horse like his sire. He comes from a line of cowy horses - just off this c**ts papers are legends like Smart Little Lena, Doc Quixote, Sweet Lil Pepto and more. Asking 5,5xx as he does have a small umbilical hernia that we are in the process of treating. Located in Gregory, SD and can assist with shipping.

Chris and I decided to do a little picnic after trimming five horses up in Highmore yesterday - we lasted about long enough to take this picture before we were eaten alive and decided to have dinner in the truck! 🦟🦟

Our first foal of 2024! Meet 'Bama', our first on-ranch Fish baby, out of Cherry, a mare that my mom raised here as well. He's all neck and legs right now, but we are so thrilled that he is healthy and already bouncing around being goofy! Three more to come this year, what a beautiful start to spring!

Thank you to everyone who came and made an appearance at our first ever Spring Fling! We had great weather and so much fun, the kids got to play games and make crafts, do face painting and spray Chris with the water hose! Thank you to Buches for supplying us with some Subway, we were definitely hungry after all this fun!

Happy First Birthday, Georgia! Thank you for guarding the ranch so well - even though you didn’t herd up with the goats, or the chickens…okay, ate the chickens 🫣 and even though you like the neighbors yard every now and then…and got into both our wedding cake and the fireball somehow…we love you jo-jo!!
