Our sweet Rose is full energy and love! She will be starting her treatment on Monday, 05/13, at Barnesville Animal Clinic, and donations are still being accepted. Let's help this youthful girl live a long and joyous life!
Donations can be made directly to Barnesville Animal Clinic by giving them a call a (770) 358-3763. Checks can also be mailed or dropped off at Spalding County Animal Care and Control. They can be made out to Spalding County Animal Control and the note can say Rose's vet care or Emergency vet Fund.
*Donations needed for this sweet girl,*
Rose is set to start treatment this upcoming Monday and we need your help. It is a $1200 bill that covers a 5 month treatment plan! She is a sweet girl with a loving heart who wants a chance to thrive. We choose life and treatment over euthanasia.
Now how did we even find out sweet Rose was positive. You see in the past 2 months all dogs at the Spalding Shelter are being altered in advance of adoption, vaccinated twice, rabies vaccine, microchipped, given parasite treatment upon intake and subsequently each month. Cats are tested for felv and dogs are given a heartworm test. If they are negative started on heart guard and positive enrolled in treatments. That's a back story! Ready for home just has a longer highway to run.

πΆ Reduced and waived adoption fees for all dogs through January 20th! πΆ
We want all these fur babies to have home for the holidays!π All dogs are reduced to the cost to get them vetted (spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip) and our cost is waived! If they're fully vetted, THEY'RE FREE!
These babies deserve to curl up under your tree for Christmas! π
These are the things that make our job so much better. We deal with sad situations all the time but its the happy endings like these that make up for the bad. Honey was surrendered by her owner and did not like anyone getting near her and with a few weeks of interaction she warmed up and found a furever home. Its always hard finding a home for an animal with a "defect" (she only has 3 legs) but you can clearly see she is living her best life!
