Hey guys, I’ve been sitting on a secret for a couple weeks… I’m thrilled to present to you our very first chocolates and lilac! Nobody was more surprised than me on their birthday to realize that these babies were not black and white, but were actually chocolate and white! The lilac was absolutely mind-boggling! Get with me asap because these babies won’t be available long!

We stalled out for naptime after number 3 this morning. Now that we’re dry and have an overhead light on (and the goon leading this parade isn’t as exhausted 🤦🏻‍♀️) we actually have either a black smoke and white OR tabby and white, a blue and white (unsure on smoke at the moment) and the third to arrive was a colorpoint or a cameo, if colorpoint the color will be determined as the baby develops and the color appears. Paisley is back to pushing and we’ve both had some rest and something to eat. Khloe took me seriously when I begged her to hold onto her horses lastnight and that I can only be of assistance to one at a time 🤪 but I have a feeling she’s close lol

Paisleys babies began arriving at 3:22 am. So far we have a black smoke and white and a black and white. Currently waiting in the arrival of #3 🖤

Khloe looks like she’s going to follow quickly behind and of course Gypsy could not be outdone and babies will be here by the end of the week!

Happy Friday everyone!!!
I will be working today to prepare for three new litters of kittens coming very soon! Gypsy did not end up pregnant earlier in the spring, but she is now one of the three that are due in the coming weeks! These will not be Ernie babies, but they will still have their moms calm temperament so you do not want to miss out! I still have fingers crossed that I will find the perfect little girl to carry on her mom’s lines and will update everybody as soon as babies start arriving!

Everybody, listen up!!!
On Valentine’s Day, I allowed Ernie and Gypsy one last honeymoon before they both retire (I’m sure this time) this year! In about 8 weeks I hope to have pics to share of some gorgeous shorthair babies! I have my fingers crossed for a little calico to carry on her mothers European, Grand Champion lines but only time will tell! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

He was so good for me and let me clean his face and eyes super good! He’s packed his bags and he’s ready for adventure!!! Ugh I’m going to miss this lil guy! EXCITING UPDATE!!!!
Our gorgeous black smoke girl will be joining the family of Arlene and Jim Tinkler (brown tabby) by way of their daughter Tessa Gerhart-Ball and her husband Wes!!!! I am so excited to watch these babies grow with their families and have always said I have the best pet parents anyone could hope for! Congrats y’all, she’s super sweet even if her face doesn’t always say it 🤣🖤

Last chance to get on the transport trip for tomorrow local-ish folks! Let me know if I need to deliver a bundle of Valentine joy! ❤️

As cat lovers, I know you will all understand this…

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to this asshole… If you scroll through the pictures you’ll see a tiny bit of why I fondly refer to him as such… For over a year we’ve been regulating his diabetes with insulin, a LOT of insulin… 6 units twice a day… That’s a LOT of insulin! Sometime after we went to bed Monday night he slipped into ketoacidosis, I found him in rough shape around 2 am and knew what the next morning held in store for us. When he was first diagnosed, I had prepared to say goodbye before that visit only to find out we could treat his issue after all. Our time ran out and the insulin just stopped working, and now there’s a 20 lb hole missing in my heart and in this house… For 24 hours I haven’t hollered at anyone to get off the counter, or get out of my sink… I haven’t been reminded 32 times a day that it’s feeding time even when it isn’t… He hasn’t asked me for a hug or knocked my drink over on the counter he’s not supposed to be on… And I just miss it, all of it… Every frustrating moment in a day with him, for the last 10 years, and I suddenly miss it so bad that I’d do anything to have him back.
Snuggle those kitties tonight, and remember to cherish every spilled drink and shredded toilet paper roll, because someday you’ll miss it.

Our little blue and white tabby boy traveled through a rare snowstorm last Sunday to meet his new family! Little Lincoln (Boomer Sooner!) appears to have made friends with his new big brother Titus! His Cat Mom says he’s settling in nicely and that all the girls at the vets office fell in love! He is such a little heartthrob! ❤️😻

Bonus footage!!!! Sylvie knows she’s the real star around here which is why the babies all follow her lead... Lord help me, that girl is a hot mess lol!

Ernie was butting in on Gypsy’s petting and belly rub time this morning so I had to explain that she’s the one doing all the hard work and that we need to be taking good care of her in these last few days before the babies come... This is his response, it’s been going on for 10 mins now and he’s still going! They’re so sweet it’s gross lol! #RelationshipGoals #ExoticShorthair #HotMama
