Looking for a barn hand for feeding horses - general barn chores - cleaning stalls - moving horses - cleaning water troughs etc
Experience in handling horses and previous barn work essential
Wednesday 3pm to 7pm
Sunday 7am to 10am
Additional shifts can be picked up to cover vacation and busy times
FULL CARE PASTURE BOARD - Groveland
We now have spots open on our 25 acre pasture for our full care pasture board
The pasture is always full of green grass and is surrounded by trees, with arbor tunnels and shady spots - trails are maintained through the 5 acres of trees to give natural protection from the rain - it is the most tranquil setting - our little piece of heaven on earth !
Each horse has its own individual paddock that they come into twice a day for feeding - allowing us to accommodate any special diet requirements. As each horses relaxes in their paddock they are given a wellness check to make sure there are no issues or anything that needs to be addressed.
We currently have 6 horses - a mixture of mares and geldings - living happily together - it is a beautiful sight to see the horses live so peacefully together in such natural surroundings
Included in our package of $600 per month :-
Morning and night feed - grain included

Fly sprayed ( owner provides spray )
Administering of any supplements ( owner provides )

We are looking for a barn hand to join the team - 3 evenings a week - Monday Tuesday and thursday from 3pm to 7pm
Regular barn chores - feeding - turning out horses - cleaning stalls - general barn chores

2 water buckets topped up twice daily and as needed

Hay fed while in the stall ( T&A or 3 way - alfalfa negotiable )

Administering supplements and wormer ( provided by owner )

Blessin (Gottcha Blessin ) is our 12 year old OTTB - he is ready for his next partner to go on adventures with !
Bless has started over fences and has lots of scope to go higher - currently happy going over 2’ 3” courses and is willing to keep going up
He is forward with lots of energy no need to keep adding leg ! Soft in the mouth he comes round in the arena and is a good prospect for dressage or eventing as well as hunter / jumper
UTD on everything- stands - loads - crossties and has a lot of personality

Baby Valkyrie is only 18 months old - without this scan her only option now is euthanasia - it is heart breaking - we have helped Lis every way we can to get to this point - we hoped and prayed things would turn around but unfortunately this is the only scan that will actually see whats on the inside. It is the last shot we have at saving this babies life - please help if you can

What a wonderful barn family we have ! Pulling in the driveway from a horse show - hungry - tired and exhausted! We were greeted with Jess Cindy and Gina who came out to give us a festive welcome home ! Thank you ladies- thank you all our boarders and students - staff and volunteers- for the wonderful atmosphere and environment you create - we cant wish for a better barn family ❤️
Cammy is looking for his forever family Cammy came to us last year as a rescue - he was extremely malnourished - but all he needed was some TLC ! And look at him now - he is believed to be 30 years old !! Cammy is an easy keeper - he just needed feed on a regular basis ! We are looking to adopt Cammy to a family or person who can give him the love he deserves- he is a paso fino - and is a super smooth ride. He is just a little guy at only just 14hh - loves kids and attention Let us know if you are interested in giving Cammy a home - he has a lot of life to live !

Shiloh is a 20 year old quarter horse - he stands 15.1 hh He has been in our lesson program for almost 2 years and has taught many little girls how to ride Prior to us he has been a jumper - a ranch horse and a barrel racer - and so now we think he deserves to have the love and attention of one family ! Gooses story so far When he came gooses history was he had been used for beach rides and had started to lay down with riders on his back During his evaluations we discovered goose has issues in every foot and every joint in every leg His attitude wasn’t great - he cribs constantly- is very food aggressive - and did not care for people at all - hated being touched and would pin his ears None of this is surprising when you learn his issues and find out he was starved previously- i added a picture from before in the comments to help explain his food aggression After lots of therapeutic treatments and vet care - goose is a different horse His first day of ground work in the round pen was amazing- he no longer stands at the fence cribbing - he is engaged and wants to be with me - he follows and obeys - no lead rope no treats - just to get the reward of love ❤️ Cant wait to see his outcome !
