Experience in handling horses and previous barn work essential

Wednesday 3pm to 7pm
Sunday 7am to 10am

Additional shifts can be picked up to cover vacation and busy times

FULL CARE PASTURE BOARD - Groveland
We now have spots open on our 25 acre pasture for our full care pasture board
The pasture is always full of green grass and is surrounded by trees, with arbor tunnels and shady spots - trails are maintained through the 5 acres of trees to give natural protection from the rain - it is the most tranquil setting - our little piece of heaven on earth !
Each horse has its own individual paddock that they come into twice a day for feeding - allowing us to accommodate any special diet requirements. As each horses relaxes in their paddock they are given a wellness check to make sure there are no issues or anything that needs to be addressed.
We currently have 6 horses - a mixture of mares and geldings - living happily together - it is a beautiful sight to see the horses live so peacefully together in such natural surroundings
Included in our package of $600 per month :-
Morning and night feed - grain included
Blanketing in winter
Fly sprayed ( owner provides spray )
Administering of any supplements ( owner provides )
70 meter x 30 meter clay dressage arena
Jump field with 10 jump course
Round pen
Private trail to Lake Erie
Under cover wash racks with hot water
Under cover cross tie areas
Air Conditioned tack room and break area for personal tack storage
Restrooms

We are looking for a barn hand to join the team - 3 evenings a week - Monday Tuesday and thursday from 3pm to 7pm

Regular barn chores - feeding - turning out horses - cleaning stalls - general barn chores

12x12 matted Stall
Stalls cleaned twice daily
2 water buckets topped up twice daily and as needed
Fan with remote access
Premium shavings replaced daily
Automatic Fly spray system
Insulated barn for cool in summer and heat in winter

Grain fed morning and night ( Triple crown choice of feeds - special diets accommodated )
Hay fed while in the stall ( T&A or 3 way - alfalfa negotiable )

We will hold horse for vet and farrier
