Horses With A Mission, Inc. We are a non profit Therapeutic Riding Center for children and adults with special needs. We have a P Why therapeutic riding?

Therapeutic riding programs bring disabled children and adults together with horses. Where often times their disabilities can fade away, if even for a short time. Self-esteem can be built, fears overcome, confidence inspired and often times these programs can give control of movement through the horse to the rider that has not much control. Horseback riding can teach the rider a skill while at the

same time helping to stretch and strengthen muscle tone. The rhythm of the riding helps to relax the body and improve coordination and balance. Services we provide
Horses with a Mission, Inc. provides a unique, highly effective, private, equine-assisted therapeutic riding lesson. Each lesson includes horse management as part of the curriculum, incorporating responsibility and ownership. Each student, to the ability they have, leads, grooms, and saddles their pony before and after each lesson. While riding, each students individuals needs are being addressed through horse therapy such as speech, sensory, balance, behavior, cognitive processing, and etc.

Over Christmas break we have been busy on the farm. Eric and James worked tirelessly to complete our new stall edition so that all of our horses have their own stalls!

I first want to say a huge thank you to my husband for turning my dream into a reality! He is my number one supporter and the guy that gets the projects done. With help from James they were able to finish the stalls before classes start back up next week.

Thank you to all of our supporters that helped donate to make this a reality! Our horses are truly blessed! They are all so happy to have their own stall. Theo didn’t want to come out of it yesterday!

We still have to add fans and all the finishing touches but the horses can use them now!
