This is a picture of our field during last week's horrible flooding, and what it looks like after the water went down. We lost about 80% of our crops for the year, with a total value of well over $100,000. We're doing our best to keep the CSA shares going and keep our crew employed full time by planting new crops for fall and harvesting from other farms who have generously shared with us. Signups are open for our winter farm share! Winter shares start the first week of November and run every two weeks until March 2023. We'll have spinach from our un-heated greenhouses, lots of stored root veggies like carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, beets, and turnips, preserves like dried herbs and chili peppers, canned tomatoes, and lots more
