Our Story
Hey all! Thank you for stopping by. South Georgia Beagles and Basset Hounds is a small kennel in Hahira Georgia. We take pride in our beautiful healthy babies. Each of our litters receive lots of love and nurture to build a foundation for a great pet. Our litters are raised with other dogs, adults and children while at our home. We are licensed through the USDA and follow all of the regulations required for our dogs.
We started breeding Beagles and Basset Hounds in August of 2013. But we were not new to breeding. We actually bred Miniature Dachshunds back in 2005. When we started breeding in 2013, we bred other breeds but fell in love with Beagles and Basset Hounds. We have found that both Beagles and Basset Hounds make great sporting dogs and/or family pets. The floppy ears and unforgettable howl was for us, so here we are.
